Reality TV star, Dianne Russet has schooled a fan on why it is wrong to wish to be like someone else, instead of one’s self.
The die-hard fan had revealed that she wants to be like the beautiful film-maker and entrepreneur. However, Dianne advised her to shun the idea and focus on being a better version of herself.
According to Diane, people can draw inspiration from a prominent person, but they shouldn’t wish to mirror the person’s life because the “idol” might be facing daunting challenges which they don’t share on social media.
In her words;
“This statement is very wrong, my darling, people might be facing the most challenging battles and you won’t know because they don’t post about it.
Someone can inspire you, someone should/motivate you But if you ever wish to be something, I wish that you will choose to be you, choose a better version of yourself and not someone else.”
