A lady has recounted her experience on her way to the NYSC camp with just ₦5000 and nothing else in her account.
She was worried about how she was going to surv!ve with such an amount. But on the day that she went to the garage to board a bus to Benue, she met a beautiful girl named Semiat. The lady tapped her while she was on her phone and asked if she was going to the camp. She said yes and Semiat asked if they could be friends. “Why not” the lady replied.
They chatted and bonded as they journeyed along. The bus stopped at Akure so passengers could eat. Everyone got off except for the lady. She was hungry but she didn’t have the money to spare. But to her surprise Semiat got her food and Hollandia yoghurt.”I was completely shocked” , she added. When they got to Edo she also got her bananas.
They got to Benue late and the driver told everyone to find a place to sleep, and continue the journey the next morning. The lady wanted to sleep inside the bus but Semiat dragged her to a nearby hotel where she paid for both of them.
They got to camp the next day, moved into their hostels and then headed to the Mami Market to eat. After the food they headed for verification. Semiat was then informed that she had been posted to Lagos and not Benue. Apparently her boyfriend helped her with a direct posting.
“Omo I couldn’t hold back my t3ars. Someone I had known for barely two days was already leaving me. She left camp that day, and I missed her so much. She was incredibly loving, kind, friendly and beautiful. I had never met such a kind person before”, The lady concluded.
