American rapper, Johnathan Jamall Porter, professionally known as Blueface, has been arrested in Las Vegas for attempted murder.
The rapper was arrested on Tuesday, November 15, on suspicion of attempted murder with a deadly weapon and discharging a firearm at an occupied structure during an incident that occurred on October 8.
In a video making the rounds online that shows the moment he was arrested, Blueface and his girlfriend, Chrisean Rock, were sitting on a bench looking at their phones when a swarm of undercover officers ran over and grabbed him before throwing him against a wall.
He was handcuffed outside Lo-Lo’s Chicken & Waffles in Vegas in what appears to have been an undercover operation.
He has been charged with felony attempted murder with the use of a deadly firearm or tear gas, according to legal documents connected to the warrant, TMZ reports.
In other news, a Nigerian woman, identified as Patience Sopuru Davidson, was sentenced to one month in prison for alleged negligence in the United Arab Emirates.
A Twitter user @Chetexxx5, who claims to be a relative of the embattled woman, took to the microblogging platform to raise alarm about her predicament on Monday, November 14.
@Chetexxx5 said her younger sister who works as a caregiver at Al Ain Center for Care and Rehabilitation Center of Disabled in Abu Dhabi was jailed for spending 30 minutes in the bathroom which led to one of her students cutting his ear.
According to @Chetexxx5, Sopuru was supposed to complete her jail sentence on October 15, 2022, but they have not heard anything from her since then. Read here.
