Popular Nigerian singer, Adekunle Gold, has a knack for making his wife, Simi, feel special, and it’s always lovely to witness.

The mother of one clocked 34 a few days ago, and the high crooner treated his wife to a beautiful surprise during last night’s episode of Nigeria Idol.

During the live show, Adekunle Gold posed as his wife’s “superfan” and presented her with a birthday cake on stage.

Simi, one of the Nigerian Idol judges, was taken aback when she saw the admirer who turned out to be her husband. Her mouth was burst open for the first few minutes, then she jumped up and gave him a warm hug.

A while ago, the Nigerian songstress, Simi made her fans known the reason why she walked down the aisle with Adekunle Gold.

Simi who signed the ‘for better for worse’ contract with Adekunle Gold, revealed on Instagram that she deprives pleasure in inheriting her husband’s wears and that played a huge part in her getting married.

She said right now she could wear all his clothes and never give them back and vice versa that was Adekunle didn’t want to get married.

Simi wrote: “only reason I got married was so I could wear all his clothes and never give them back. that’s the only reason why he didn’t want to get married. so love is compromise. compromise is her having her way.”
