A Nigerian lady who identifies as @torty_mercy has shared via the microblogging platform X how her male bestie dumped her friend after she helped him with his relocating plans.
Sharing in several tweets she revealed that after service her friend was the only one who secured a job, leaving her boyfriend jobless.
Seeing his situation, she invited him over to her house in Abuja and bought him a car to begin a taxi business with.
She also added that her friend started wearing a ring to avoid too much talk from her neighbors.
After a while into the business, he convinced his girlfriend to fund his relocating plans and promised she would join him once he was fully settled down.
In a bid to discourage her friend not to sponsoring him, she got cut off and they stopped communicating for a while.
Moreover, when they reconnected, her friend revealed that her boyfriend was getting married to someone else.
She wrote;
“Now my anger in all this things is that this guy married a girl in 300 level that 2019 and she joined him early 2021. I confronted him on WhatsApp that time though and he categorically told me in these exact words “I can’t marry someone I cannot control” Last year being 2023 January, his marriage crashed. As a matter of fact, it was so bad on him though I don’t have the details, he had to leave the country. This guy spoke to me in December and I gave him the good news of his ex in a malicious way. He asked if she’s gotten into another relationship and I told him no cos she totally gave up on love. Guess what? He’s begging her to take him back, that he made a terrible mistake”
