Nollywood actor, Uche Maduagwu has expressed concern over the silence of his veteran colleague, Pete Edochie, regarding the marital crisis of his son, Yul Edochie.
In a video he shared on his official Instagram page, Uche said that Pete Edochie’s silence on Yul Edochie’s marital crisis is worrisome.
He urged Pete Edochie to talk to his son and call him to order, stating that it is unheard of in Igbo land for a “first wife to be mourning the passing of her child and the second wife to be celebrating safe delivery of her own child.”
His words,
“Dear Sir PETE, your continuous SILENCE on this matter is unbelievably Worrisome, talk to your Pikin. Never in the History of African Culture, especially in the IGBO Tradition has something like this happened that 1st IYAWO go Dey Mourn her Pikin, and Husband go post video of 2nd IYAWO Jubilating and Thanking God for safe Delivery of her Pikin, is this a JOKE or what?”
This comes after Yul Edochie shared a video of his second wife, Judy, bragging about God’s love and thanking Him for the safe delivery of her child on his Facebook page.
The video, which was shared on Yul’s verified Facebook page only a few weeks after the passing of his first son with his first wife, did not sit well with netizens, and they criticized him and Judy.
