Nigerian songstress, Simi Ogunleye, better known by her stage name, Simi, has warmed the hearts of many on social media after she replied a man who pleaded with her to attend his wedding.
The groom-to-be tendered his request on popular micro-blogging platform, Twitter. In the tweet, the gentleman identified as OluwaLamzy took a bold step for his wife-to-be, who is a fan of Simi, as he sent tweet directed at the singer, requesting that she attends his wedding to make his wife’s day more special.
OluwaLamzy stated that though he knows he cannot afford to pay Simi’s fee for her to grace his wedding, he pleaded with the singer to attend, stating that he would do anything she wants.

The singer then replied to him, asking for his wedding date – he tweeted at her, revealing when his wedding would take place. To OluwaLamzy’s surprise, the singer asked him to continue the conversation in her direct message.
