Anita Brown, the American woman who claims to be pregnant for Nigerian singer Davido, has publicly apologized to the singer’s wife, Chioma Adeleke.
This comes weeks after she made derogatory comments about Chioma on social media, stating that Chioma had undergone plastic surgery to achieve her curvaceous body, but it still ended up looking like ‘trash.’
She also implied that Davido wouldn’t have married Chioma if they hadn’t lost their son, Ifeanyi Adeleke, who tragically drowned in a swimming pool in October 2022.
Recall that Anita also released a song in which she advocated for Chioma’s freedom from what she described as a ‘toxic situation.’
Anita, who went on a rant for days and repeatedly criticized the singer and his wife, has now expressed remorse and tendered an apology to Chioma.
In a recent post on her Instagram page, Anita disclosed that she is currently going through a traumatic experience but doesn’t want to share details.
She added that she feels sorry for how she treated Chioma, acknowledging that losing a child and being hurt by someone’s partner is a terrible thing.
Anita wrote,
“I am going through a traumatic & tragic time in my life. I honestly don’t want to speak on it & don’t need to, or have to speak on it. It’s too much to bear right now. Im disquieted by all of the events that have taken place. The only thing i will say is i regret that i let my pain and feelings of betrayal allow me to turn me against another woman. So, i apologize to Chioma. / never intended to speak on you or your child. Losing is never a good feeling, being hurt by someone you love and care about is not a good feeling.
Moving forward I would prefer to be known for the light i bring into the world.
