Big Brother Naija star, Wathoni has taken to social media to share how she struggled to make ends meet before she rose to stardom.
According to the reality star, she struggled with striving in business and at the same time raising her son. Wathoni noted that her life before BBNaija was a rough part.
She revealed that many of her close friends wrote her off and constantly discouraged her that she can never succeed in business.
In a lengthy Instagram post, she wrote,
“I can re-call how this time last two years I be running helter skelter in the market to make sure my customers Cc @wathonis_ get their orders and ASAP. Even last year I constantly kept posting on my business page (sadly that page is gone).
I have close Fam who used to say business isn’t for me. Well I had no choice it was paying my bills and my son’s so I had to keep pushing.
Life brings us as many joyful moments as it does downfalls. I use every criticism to motivate myself. Let me not even get started about my NYSC struggles …..
Why am I saying all this? It really doesn’t come easy for those you think it comes easy for and life just comes at you super fasttttttttt.
I was gisting with my friend yesterday and I was like “it was actually fun going to the market those days o” and she’s like how is it fun going to the market?
I think of all of that now and mennnnnnnnnnn I just thank God for where I am today.. No mind me dear sometimes I am a STORY TELLER 😉.”
