Media personality, Layole Oyatogun has given an instance of what defines you as a true friend as she says if you’re not the kind of person who can actually tell his/her friend that they have body odour, then you are a wicked type.
The lovely took to her IG page to share a quite lovely photo of herself looking sleek et all but her caption didn’t really commensurate all the ‘sleekness’ that was going on in her photo.
In her caption, she talks about the being a truthful and honest person who can actually tell his/her friend an unappealing thing about them – body odour in particular.
She says rather than compensate them with deodorants and perfumes et all, without them why you’re giving them such, you should rather tell them the painful truth, but in a nice way.
She wrote,
Let’s talk about some PAINFUL truths today- BODY ODOUR.
You are a wicked friend if you cannot tell a close friend he or she has body odour. STOP giving them perfumes and deodorant sprays hoping to mask the stench, tell them the truth…. in a nice way. It is better you tell them than let the world continously mock them behind their backs.I attended an event some days ago and sat beside a group of friends. As soon as one of the girls walked to the restroom, her friends kept on talking about how she stinks and none of them could tell her. They all kept mum the moment she joined them back on their table
