“Something br0ke in me”, woman said following a DNA test that her husband of five years insisted on having.

According to her, it was three weeks after she had just given birth; she was still recovering, still in paIn and was barely having a good sleep, when her husband casually told her, “I think we should do a paternity test”. At first she thought he was joking, but then realized he wasn’t when she found out that his coworkers had been feeding him stories about men who unknowingly raised children that were never biologically theirs -“and one even commented that our son looked nothing like him”, she added.

She felt hurt that he didn’t trust her despite five years of being married. But his defense was that he needed peace of mind and if indeed she had nothing to hide then it shouldn’t be an issue. His response br0ke her, made her feel like a suspect and doubled on her postnatal p@ins. And with no argument she agreed to the test.

They did the test and the result turned out positive: 99.9999% probability of paternity. Relieved of his fe@rs he said to her, “see? Now we can move on”. But according to her she couldn’t. The test was not not her issue, it was the trust. He believed the words of his colleagues more than hers. And because of that, she filed for a divorce.

The whole issue might not even be cheating….at the hospitals they exchange children my cousin raised a child and they realized it’s not theirs when she is 6 years…not mum’s and not dad’s don’t joke around DNA…” an X-user reacted.
