A fast-rising Nigerian event host, Evelyn Adewunmi, popularly known as MC Eve, has died in a ghastly car accident in Lagos.
MC Eve was said to have been in a car with her boyfriend on Tuesday, October 12th, when they were involved in the accident which claimed her life.
She was critically injured and rushed to a nearby hospital but didn’t make it, while her boyfriend who was driving the car was unhurt.
The young talent hosted Toyin Lawani’s wedding months ago and has worked with a number of Nigerian celebrities.
Colleagues, friends, and celebrities have taken to social media to mourn her demise.
Nollywood actress, Mercy Aigbe shared a video with Eve at Toyin Lawani’s wedding and wrote, “So heartbreaking, absolutely shocking! RIP Evelyn 😩😭😭😭💔💔💔”.
Toyin Lawani has also taken to her official Instagram page to pay tribute to Eve fondly called ‘The Energy Goddess’.
