Controversial Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie, has shared a touching encounter with an elderly fan who recently met him in person.
Taking to his Instagram page, the award-winning thespian and father of five recounted the emotional moment a woman approached him on the set of a movie and wept bitterly while praying for him to be successful in all his endeavors.
The woman is seen kneeling and looking at him with tears in her eyes in the picture that Yul shared of the incident.
Sharing the photo, he revealed he was touched by the woman’s gesture.
He expressed his gratitude to God for his mercies in his life and thanked his fans for their support.
“Today while filming. A fan met me, a mother. She wept while praying for me and wishing me well in all my endeavors. I was so touched. Thank you. I’m deeply grateful for the love and grateful to God for his mercies upon me.” He wrote.

This comes after Yul Edochie bewailed the quality of actor and actresses finding their way into the Nollywood film industry.
Taking to his verified Instagram page, the movie star said everyone wants to delve into acting nowadays, including dumb people who can’t speak good English.
He said this was not the case in the industry before, but now Nollywood has become a dumping ground for mediocre actors.
