Man recounts how a relationship with a 34-year-old lady almost took his life when he was a 19-year-old.
He said he was in 200L when he started dating her. She was 34, had a salon, her own car and a flat. His friends called her sugar mummy and he exalted himself for dating a mature lady. He was convinced that she loved him as she will pay his rent when he got stuck.
But there were red flags: she didn’t like him playing football with his mates, she’d call him thirty times if he wasn’t picking up, and if she sees him conversing with a female course mate she’ll freeze him out for days then show up later with gifts to apologize.
It got worse in his 300L when she will take his phone and block every girl on his contact, and show up at his lectures unannounced. The day she met him talking with a classmate she dragged him into her car, drove to her place and locked the door. Told him how he was disgracing her and how he would be nothing without her.
When he knew to end things was when she came to his lodge drunk at 2 am. He refused to open the door, so she kept kicking until it frame cracked and she f0rced her self in. She took a knife, pressed it on her wrist, and warned that if he ever left her she’d k!ll herself and tell everyone that he drove her to it. He begged and told her he wasn’t leaving, so she could drop the knife.
The next morning he ran to his uncle’s house in another state, and blocked her everywhere. She then called his mum and reported that he st0le her gold chain. His mother didn’t speak to him for two weeks
