A man has come out to share his wife’s disappointment following the Valentine’s gifts he sent to her.

The man had made it clear that prior his wife he had never celebrated valentine with any girl. He didn’t give gifts, none was given to him and he was fine with it. Then he meets his wife who was a nepo-classy-baddie, a “anything worth doing is worth doing well” kind of girl.

Valentine’s Day came and he didn’t get her anything and she got upset. He tried to brush it off with the fact that he always gets her gifts on regular days. But she wouldn’t have it. She tells him that even if he didn’t want anything he should get her something. So he decided to do better the following year.

The year came and he paid a vendor 80k for a frame, a romantic tote bag, a pair of slippers and lunch to come with it.

By 5pm she sent him a “Thank you for the gifts” message. He suspected that she didn’t like the gifts, because he expected her to sound more excited than that. He then called her, and to his confusion, she was cry!ng. She sent him the photos of the gifts and asked if that was what she was worth to him.

“She described the frame as something they use for low budget buri@ls and said she can not even use the bag to store her underwear because it looks like low budget pablet, while the slippers was done by an apprentice that just started work in Aba”, The boyfriend said.

He said it wasn’t about the cost of the gifts but the quality, because quality means thought. You don’t give low quality gifts to someone you hold in high esteem.

After that experience he said he always does his valentine shopping by himself. She hasn’t used the bag till date but she hung the frame. And the slippers, magically disappeared.

“she can not even use the bag to store her underwear

because it looks like low budget pablet,

while the slippers was done by an apprentice that just started work in Aba.

As she was saying all these, she was w@iling.

I felt really bad for her but

I was also @ngry at the weyrey vendor that ruined my valentine.

It wasn’t about the cost for her,

it was about the quality because quality means thought.

You don’t give low quality gifts to someone you hold in high esteem.

After then, I always do my valentine gift shopping myself.

If it’s only 5k I have, I buy 5k pink hair clips

because it’s better than buying 10 items of 5h each with low quality.

She still hasn’t used the bag till date but she hung the frame.

The slippers magically disappeared”
