Human rights activist, Aisha Yesufu have been cyberbullied and attacked by Muslim fanatics, over her active involvement in the #EndSARS.
The 45 year old activist, who was a co-convener of the Bring Back Our Girls (BBOG) movement, has been labelled “colorful” names and told to remove her hijab, because she is not “following Islamic tenets”.
Aisha took to Twitter to share screenshots of some of the insults she has received from Muslim faithfuls.
Sharing a Twitter thread, she wrote,
“This is a thread of a few screenshot of fellow Muslims who have told me to remove my hijab. It is not religion for them. It is oppression of women and they are not able to deal with one who refuses to be oppressed!”
