Former Super Eagles striker, Peter Osaze Odemwingie has bashed Amara Kanu, wife of legendary footballer, Kanu Nwankwo, over practicing fake Christianity and bad parenting.
Odemwingie took to Instagram to call out Amara in a now-deleted post for constantly trailing him with messages, which he claims is wrong according to his culture.
In a lengthy caption, he also accused Amara, who he labelled as ‘Deliliah’, of failing as a Christian because she didn’t condemn her son’s hand gesture of the ‘Baphomet’.
According to him, it is unacceptable for him to wear a cross on his neck and make the hand sign.
His post in full reads,
“The reason why Nigeria is in this state. Too many want to be like America. God turned his back at america as things stand. Destruction is upon her.
How can a wife of a legend like @kingkanu4 be chasing me for a chat relentlessly ( check ur DM check your DM ) na by force ? @amarakanu. Your husband has my number and it’s not in our culture to msg another man without asking your husband.

The beautiful Fitness coach has since responded to the former footballer’s allegations. Amara took to the comment section to plead with him to take down the post as her husband is aware of everything and they would like to speak with him as a family.
She commented,
