“There is nothing like share the burden, she did not beg you to marry her, every husband has a duty to provide” – Reno Omokri tells married men

Former presidential aide and author, Reno Omokri, has taken to social media to send an important message to married men.

Reno in a post shared on his official Instagram page said it’s a man’s duty to provide everything for his wife.

According to him, men are under no obligation to do anything for their girlfriends but they must provide everything for their wives.

He noted that there’s nothing like sharing the burden and a man must provide for his wife because husband means “provider”.

In his words,

“Dear men,
You are under no obligation to do anything for your girlfriend. However, if you marry her, you are under obligation to do everything for her. There is nothing like share the burden. She did not beg you to marry her. So, if you are not ready, don’t carry her! As the name denotes, a boyfriend is just a friend who is male. He may or may not become the girlfriend’s lover. If he fornicates with her (not recommended), he still remains a friend. There are no duties attached. The word husband, however, means provider. Every husband has a DUTY to provide!”
