Sensational gospel singer, Mercy Chinwo has shared a video that captures the funny moment she complained about not being allowed to wear beret for her introduction ceremony.
The Port Harcourt born singer who is set to walk down the aisle with her pastor fiancé, Blessed Uzochikwa, introduced her husband-to-be to her family recently and it was indeed a beautiful moment.
She shared a video of the moment a professional gele artist was tying her gele before the ceremony began and she was seen complaining about the stress involved in tying the head gear.
She stated that she was going through a lot of stress because of the way the gele artist was turning her head here and there to get the perfect look.
According to the 31-year-old ‘Obinasom’ crooner, she would have preferred to wear her signature beret for the ceremony because it’s easy to wear as opposed to tying gele.
Speaking in a light-hearted manner, Mercy Chinwo who evidently has a good sense of humour, told the people around to call her husband to come to her rescue, adding that his ‘sister’ is looking for him.
She however noted that she was only joking and was very happy.
