A young lady has recounted how she had to fall out of love with a boy whom she really loved.
They had dated in their university days; she was in 200 level while he was in 300Level at a school outside Nigeria. According to her, they only met anytime he came to Lagos during the holidays. When it was time for his NYSC service, he came to camp, and they had an issue that changed his attitude towards her. She tried to get him to open up, but he refused to. After his camp, she called and asked if he was back from camp, and he reluctantly told her he was.
Without informing him, she took a bus from Osun state to Lagos to see him. She went to the guest house where they usually meet, and noticed that the staff were reluctant to tell her that he was inside. She went to his room, knocked, and was surprised by the shock on his face. She began suspecting him when he came out and refused to let her in. She questioned who was inside, and they argued till they got to the compound of the hotel.
While they exchanged words he told her that he was no longer interested in the relationship. She began to begged him not to break her heart as she had exams that week. He held her by the shoulder and screamed that he was no longer in love with her – her view went “blur” as at that moment.
