A married woman recounts how she contacted her husband’s ex because she suspected his good behavior.
While sharing one of the cr@ziest things she did before getting married to her husband, she recounted how she reached out to his ex-girlfriend out of curiosity. Her reason was that when she met her husband, he was good to her, and she worried whether his personality was genuine. So she decided to confirm with an ex that he had told her about: if he is real, why didn’t it work out between them? She wanted to know their story beyond what he had told her.
She traced their Instagram conversation to 2018, just before she and the man had their traditional marriage – she didn’t want any surprises. The ex had commented on her engagement ring and asked if she was getting married to the said husband; she said yes, and asked if there was a reason she shouldn’t.
The ex then assured her that there wasn’t any reason why she shouldn’t. She then asked why they both didn’t end up together and the ex replied, “He is an excellent guy but I was distracted and just wasn’t willing to bare the responsibilities that came with relationships anymore. I would say it was majorly my fault”.
After reading that out, she concluded with an advice that women should always ask questions to be certain; for their sanity.
