In other news, Ibrahim Chatta has finally addressed the issue of being overlooked the 9th edition of the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA).

Chatta voiced his dissatisfaction at not being invited to the coveted award event during an interview with a radio station in Ibadan.

Ibrahim Chatta said in the interview that he had previously felt ignored because the AMVCA had failed to take notice of him.

He admitted that there are many performers in the business who are more deserving of praise than he is, though.

Despite this realization, Chatta couldn’t help but wonder why his junior colleagues were getting invitations while he was not.

Ibrahim Chatta insisted he doesn’t let the rejection impact him too much, as hid major goal is to continue pursuing his craft and reaching greater heights.

In his words;

“I always thought my work wasn’t good enough, but I see my younger colleagues who score an invite to the event. I don’t want any award to limit me because I am aiming for the Oscars. If I am focusing on not being nominated at AMVCA, I can lose focus.”
