Since it emerged, the photo has got people debating on the appropriateness of the design. Some think it is very disrespectful and too blasphemous.
Some critics have even called for the makers of the slippers to be flogged thoroughly. Other more tolerant and liberal persons have, however, said there is no big deal about he design.
