Recall yesterday, Bishop Oyedepo had warned critics not to criticize the fees of Covenant University in order to avoid the wrath of God.
Now, a Facebook User shared images of the University’s School fees structure for their newly admitted 100 level students and wrote:
This is Covenant University’s School Fees For 100 Level Students. And I want to ask, how can an average Nigerian church member afford this?
If you are David Oyedepo’s church member and you are on my Facebook, you are free to insult me, but before you do it, first go home and think and do the calculations yourself. If you are a Living Faith church member and your father is earning N100,000 per month, I’m sure he won’t like to disgrace himself by putting you in this school.
Now ask yourselves, what is the gain of those average and poor people who have contributed and are still contributing to the progress of this university? Oh, their gain must be in Heaven, huh?

God said u should pay tithe so that there would be food in the Lord’s house but these days the opposite is the case. Money for tithe is being diverted to personal property and family business while the people can not find food in God’s house. David keep food in the temple and people communally partake. It is costly to run educational institutions in Nigeria. Covenant University runs it’s private power station. Since inception light has never gone of there for 12 years. There are similar institutions in Nigeria charging more than what Covenant University charges. The university has the best library in Africa, the best research centre also in Africa and the best private university in Nigeria. All these cannot be possible without money. So why the noise?
The simple thing here is that university should be a matter of choice. I attended public primary and secondary schools when my parents could not afford private schools. We all have our choices to make. Enough of castigating the man of God.
Things of the world enticed the end time generation, if it were to be a politician or celebrity that lavish money on worldly things,they will be praised,there are universities in Nigeria that pay way higher than covenant university,leave people with little vision to say what they know,”for my people perish for lack of knowledge”.

God said u should pay tithe so that there would be food in the Lord’s house but these days the opposite is the case. Money for tithe is being diverted to personal property and family business while the people can not find food in God’s house. David keep food in the temple and people communally partake.
