AGN suspends

The Actors Guild of Nigeria has suspended all movies involving riverine areas and boat riding across the nation following the tragic demise of actor Junior Pope in a boat accident.

In a statement released by the AGN President, Emeka Rollas, actors are prohibited from featuring in any movie produced by filmmaker, Adanma Luke.

It’s no news that Adamma Luke is the producer of the movie Junior Pope was starring before his tragic passing on Wednesday, April 10.

Junior Pope, along with four other crew members, was aboard a boat departing from the movie set when they had the unfortunate accident.

Tragically, Junior Pope and one other crew member named Friday have been confirmed dead. The bodies of the remaining three individuals are yet to be recovered.

In other news, Mabel Makun, the estranged wife of popular comedian Ayo Makun, a.k.a. AY, has released a statement asking for privacy and consideration from the public following their separation.

This comes days after the comedian went online to reveal that their friendship and marriage of 20 years is slipping from his grasp and confirmed that their marriage is on the verge of hitting the rocks.
