Some officers of the Lagos Neighborhood Safety Corps (LNSC) have arrested a man for vandalizing the road light indicators on the newly constructed third mainland bridge.

The information was passed across to the public through the SSA on new media to the governor, Jubril A. Gawat, via X (Twitter).

The LNSC had apprehended the 46-year-old man, who identifies as Mr. Friday Nwafor on Tuesday, 8th of May for wrecking the road light indicators which were recently placed on the third mainland bridge.

He also stated that the suspect had been taken into custody and handed over to the Commissioner of Police, Lagos Command, Mr. Adegoke Fayoade.

His read;

“BREAKING NEWS: LNSC APPREHENDS ROAD INFRASTRUCTURE VANDAL ON 3rd MAINLAND BRIDGE Tuesday, May 8th, 2024, officers of the Lagos State Neighbourhood Safety Corps (LNSC) apprehended a road infrastructure vandal who was vandalizing the newly constructed 3rd Mainland Bridge road light indicators. The suspect was identified as Mr. Friday Nwafor a 46-year-old male resident of Lagos who was immediately taken into our custody and handed over to the Commissioner of Police, Lagos Command Mr. Adegoke Fayoade”

However, some netizens on the platform have also called for the arrest of whoever planned on buying the road light indicators from the suspect.
