A man was left devastated after he received only a simple text from his girlfriend on his birthday, despite the length he had gone to celebrate hers.
The video he shared online showed how her had promised to be intentional for her birthday and all the things he did to fulfil that promise.
Going all out for her and sparing no expense to get her numerous gifts. He gave her a gift every day for the 25 days leading up to her 25th birthday.
The gifts included items such as food, hand-written love letters, gift packages, and more. The items showed not only his willingness to spend on her, but also his thoughtfulness, as each item was specially prepared for her.
Despite all this, the lady failed to reciprocate even half of the man’s kind gesture on his birthday, sending him only a “Happy Birthday” message on WhatsApp on his actual birthday.
The message was impersonal, with many describing it as way too casual for a message she sent to her boyfriend. She even asked him what his plan was for today, showing she had put no thought into celebrating.
It revealed her lack of care and respect for the man, and led many to speculate that while he appeared to love his girlfriend from his actions, she did not reciprocate his feelings.
Few also pointed out that this was not surprising, as the video showed her lack of appreciation each time she received a gift from him, indicating that the lady was indifferent towards her boyfriend.
