Nigerian businessman ends

A Nigerian man, identified as Onoh Chukwuma Richard, has taken his own life after reportedly losing the sum of N2.5 million to betting.

The young man, said to be the CEO of Faso Energy Limited, passed away after ingesting a poisonous substance, Sniper.

It was gathered that he borrowed the said amount to stake on betting but sadly lost all the money.

Distressed by his loss, Onoh took to his Facebook page on Tuesday morning, December 12, to announce that it was his ‘last day on earth’.

He also went live on his Facebook page wearing a lemon-colored T-shirt, but, however, didn’t say a word even as people kept sending reassuring messages to him.

His friends thereafter rushed to his house but found him writhing in pain, and they immediately took him to Madonna Hospital in Umuahia for medical intervention.

Sadly, the Abia-born businessman didn’t make it out alive. A friend shared a video showing him wearing the same shirt he wore on the Facebook live.

It was also claimed that he had already consumed the sniper before going live on Facebook. However, it’s hard to tell now.

The deceased is survived by his aged mother, whom he frequently posts about on Facebook.
