Nigerian Man Raises Alarm As He Spots Visible Cracks On The Canopy Walk Bridge At The Lekki Conservation Center (WATCH)

A Nigerian man named Chude Nnamdi has sparked concerns on social media after bringing attention to cracks discovered on the canopy walk bridge at the Lekki Conservation Centre, lagos.

In a viral video, he urged people to be cautious, showing the damaged sections of the cable bridge.

The footage revealed visible cracks along the edges of the wires used to construct the bridge, raising alarm about its structural capacity.

He expressed his worry about the potential dangers, showing that the bridge stands 49 feet above the ground, hovering above a swamp known to be home to crocodiles and other wildlife.

Having visited the Lekki Conservation Centre multiple times in the past, he expressed shock at the present condition of the bridge and the potential risks it posed.

He called for immediate action to address the situation to prevent any unfortunate accidents from occurring.

Responding to the video, Jubril Gawat, the Senior Special Assistant on New Media to the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, assured the public that measures would be taken to address the issue, stating:

“IN SHA Allah…we will be there.”

The safety of visitors to the Lekki Conservation Centre is of utmost importance, and the concerns raised shed light on the need for prompt action.

As the news spreads, it is hoped that the relevant authorities will swiftly attend to the situation and conduct a thorough assessment of the bridge’s condition.
