A Nigerian man has taken to Twitter to reveal why he stopped talking to his best friend after they graduated from the university.
@thepoetpreneur disclosed that his bestfriend stopped talking to him first when he got a job after graduation, and he had to reduce the messages he was sending to him because he was feeling like a burden.
He said he eventually got a house and a car after two years, and his best friend came crawling back into his DM but he didn’t respond to him till date.
He wrote,
“After graduation, my best friend got a job and stopped talking to me. I felt I was choking him. So I stopped trying. 2 years later, God answered my prayers. I got a house & a car. He saw my house warming on my WhatsApp update & started texting me again. But I neva replied.
The truth is, people will not move closer to you if they feel you will always be a parasite in their life. Stop crying. Level up. God no dey forget anybody.”
