Chairman of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM), Abike Dabiri-Erewa has reacted to the report of a Lebanese man allegedly putting up a Nigerian lady for sale in Lebanon.

It was earlier reported that the Lebanese man, one Wael Jerro placed a $1,000 price tag on the Nigerian lady identified Busari Peace Ufuoma in a closed group on Facebook ‘Buy and Sell in Lebanon‘.

Reacting to the outcry that ensued, Dabiri-Erewa disclosed that the Nigerian mission in Lebanon has since reported to the host authorities. A manhunt has also been launched to ensure that the Nigerian lady is rescued.

She tweeted,
