Nigerian monarch, Oba Alayeluwa Saheed Ademola Elegushi, has spoken out on alleged reports that one of his wives, Olori Sekinat, is facing a life-threatening complication after a BBL surgery.
The rumor started after controversial blogger, Cutie Juls, claimed that the wife of a popular Nigerian monarch is battling for her life abroad following a botched procedure.
According to the blog, she went under the knife to enhance her backside but the procedure didn’t go as planned, and she is currently facing complications.
The post reads,
“One of our very famous Kabiyesi’s Olori is battling her dear life in one of Hausa people’s Obodoyinbo.
Them say as Kabiyesi likes big Yansh so our beautiful Olori decided to go add a little more.
Sources inside the palace revealed at this point, the palace needs everybody’s prayers more than anything else.
We pray for God’s intervention for the famous royal family”.
Although the blog didn’t mention the name of the monarch involved, many raised speculations that she was referring to Oba Elegushi’s wife, Olori Sekinat.
The palace has now responded to the unfounded rumour in a press release on Monday, May 8. They debunked the rumour and described it as the wicked imagination of the source.
They further stated that the Queen is in good health and going about her royal business in the palace without any trouble.
They also appreciated everyone who have reached out to the palace with genuine care and concern for the Queen since the rumour broke out.
