Reno Omokri tells

Former presidential aide, Reno Omokri has taken a dig at Nigerian celebrities sharing sexy photos of themselves on social media amid the recent attack at a church in Owo, Ondo state.

According to Reno, instead of those celebrities to use their platform to help victims of the attack, they are posting raunchy photos online.

He noted that this is not a good time to post such pictures as the country is still in mourning.

The social media commentator tweeted,

“As celebrities, please be sensitive to the national mood. Dozens of our citizens were killed 48 hours ago during a church service in the #OwoMassacre. Perhaps now is not the time to release sexy and half naked photos. It makes us all look like an uncaring nation of degenerates!

You have influence as a celebrity. #OwoMassacre occurred. Rather than use your celebrity to help victims, you use it to market your semi nakedness. Is this the right time for that? “There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens”-Eccl 3:1.”

A while ago, Reno Omokri shared his thoughts on why suicide rate is low among members of Catholic Church.

Taking to Twitter on Monday, May 30, Reno stated that Catholics rarely commit suicide because they can easily share their burdens with their Priests.

According to him, you can enter into any Catholic Parish to seek counsel and help from a Catholic priest and receive help without knowing the priest. Read here
