Former Presidential aide and Author, Reno Omokri has opined that people shouldn’t make luxury purchases or fly first class, if they don’t own a house.
The controversial speaker stated in a post he shared on Twitter. According to him, there is a thin line between poverty and wealth and a man will wallow in poverty if he can not differentiate between his wants and needs.
Reno Omokri said that many celebrities living in penury today spent their money on flashy things, instead of investing in assets.

“You are not better than the cleaner” – Woman writes scathing note to her manager as she resigns after 35 years as bank cleaner
A woman who worked with a bank as a cleaner for 35 years has resigned and left a note for mean staff who treated her badly.
A Twitter user, @joecousins89 who claimed to be the woman’s son shared the letter on the platform and revealed his mum eventually resigned after 35 years and described her boss as awful.
Sharing a snapshot of the letter, he wrote,
“And this is why I love my mum. She’s been cleaning banks for 35 years and today walked out with this lovely note left for that awful manager. Happy retirement Mum – always have the last laugh eh!”
In the note, the woman addressed how badly she was treated over the years and advised the superior staff to be kinder because those in lower positions are humans too.
The letter reads,

“I no dey believe prophesies again” – Visually impaired lady narrates experience
A visually impaired lady has shared her experience in the hands of a prophet who prophesied she would see again without the use of glasses.
They young lady identified as @The_Chiamaka on Twitter, revealed she once attended a church where the pastor asked her to drop her glasses on the altar with faith and she would be able to see without them.
Since the clergy man assured her that she would be able to see again without the use of her glasses, Chiamaka said she obeyed with faith and left the church without her glasses.
Unfortunately, her dad had to come to her school with her spare glasses, as they were no changes as the pastor had promised and couldn’t see without them.
The lady stated that following that experience she stopped believing prophets nor their prophecies.

25-year-old woman gives birth to nonuplets, 5 girls and 4 boys (video)
A 25-year-old Malian woman, identified as Halima Cisse, has given birth to nine children at once – five girls and four boys in Morocco, on Tuesday, May 4th.
According to Mali’s health ministry, the woman was flown by the government to Morocco for better medical care on March 30.
Cisse captured the attention of the media earlier in March when ultrasounds conducted in Morocco and Mali suggested that she was carrying seven children.
However, the woman gave birth to five girls and four boys through Caesarean section. Doctors were concerned about her health and the babies’ chances of survival, but fortunately, Cisse and her babies are alive and well.
Mali’s Health Minister Fanta Siby said, “The mother and babies are doing well so far.”
“They are due to return home in several weeks’ time,” she added.

“A man asked me for direction, immediately I spoke to him, I found myself in his house” – Lady narrates her ordeal
A Nigerian lady has taken to social media to share a near-tragic experience after her encounter with a stranger who asked her for direction.
According to the lady identified as Oluwaseun, the worse could have happened to her after a stranger hypnotized her while he pretended he was lost and asked her for direction.
Oluwaseun revealed that she lost her senses and found herself in the man’s house after the man had requested direction.
Knowing that she had been hypnotized, the man ordered her to go home and bring her mother’s jewelries, but fortunately she regained her senses on her way home.
Narrating the ordeal, she wrote,

One of the abducted Greenfield University student, Aaron Attahiru, has reunited with his family after being released by bandits.
Mother of the released student, Lauretta confirmed her son was released by the adductors on Tuesday, May 4th, but refused to disclose how he was released.
A video that has been serving rounds online since Aaron’s release, captured the moment the young man reunited with his family. In the video Lauretta is seen kneeling on the floor as she hugged her son repeatedly.
Meanwhile viral reports alleged that Aaron was released after his parents negotiated and paid the bandits ransom.
This is coming after the abductors of the students on Monday threatened to kill the victims if the government refuses to pay them N100 million ransom.

Actor Yomi Fabiyi has continued hs call for the punishment of the adults who arranged to catch actor Baba Ijesha red handed by inviting him over, and leaving him alone with the victim whom he allegedly molested, seven years ago.
According to Yomi, any government official, lawyer, Human rights worker, diplomat, member of the bench, and others, that only see the sexual assault of Baba Ijesha but fail to see the “crime” committed by the adults who organized the re-enactment of the molestation and captured it on CCTV, are “tragedies to the honest justice system.”
He also added that he will be supplying the laws that will be used to indict, arrest and prosecute the adults which would include illegal adoption.
Man arrested for sexually abusing his three underaged daughters and his neighbor’s 10-year-old niece
Men of the Ogun state police command have arresed a 52-year-old-man, Kayode Adeniyi, for allegedly having carnal knowledge of a 10-year-old girl, as well as his three underaged daughters.
A statement released by DSP Abimbola Oyeyemi, said the suspect was arrested following a report lodged at Agbado divisional headquarters by the aunty of the 10-year-old victim.
Oyeyemi said during the course of the investigation, it was discovered he has being sexually abusing his three underaged biological daughters
The statement in part read ;
”On the strength of the report, the Dpo Agbado division, CSP Kehinde Kuranga, detailed his detectives to the scene, where the suspect was promptly arrested.
On interrogation, the suspect confessed having carnal knowledge of the victim forcefully, he also admitted that he threatened the victim with knife and that is why she can’t make noise until he satisfied his sexual urge.
Further investigation into the past activities of the suspect revealed that, he has being sexually abusing his three underaged biological daughters before now which he also did not denied.”

Child Molestation : Actor, Baba Ijesha to be charged to court, risks life imprisonment
Disgraced Nigerian actor, James Olanrewaju aka Baba Ijesha, will be charged to court, and he might be likely to get life imprisonment.
According to a statement by the Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice Moyosore Onigbanjo, said the Directorate of Public Prosecutions (DPP) issued legal advice on Tuesday that a prima facie case has been disclosed against Olarenwaju.
It was recommended he should be charged under the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015. “James is to be tried under section 135 – indecent treatment of a child- punishable by seven years imprisonment; section 137 – defilement of a child – punishable by life imprisonment; section 261- sexual assault by penetration – punishable by life imprisonment; section 262- attempted sexual assault by penetration – punishable by 14 years imprisonment and section 263 – sexual assault- punishable by three years imprisonment.
While the state would ensure James’ rights as enshrined in the constitution are upheld, the Ministry of Justice would not relent in its efforts at ensuring that whoever sexually abuses any resident of Lagos is speedily brought to book.”
His case was transferred to the DPP on April 30.

A popular cleric on Facebook known as Goodheart Val Aloysius, has taken to his platform to call out his colleague, Prophet Odumeje.

Actress, Opeyemi Aiyeola narrowly escapes being killed by self medication
Nollywood actress, Opeyemi Aiyeola, has taken to social media to recount how she narrowly escaped death, following self medication.
According to the actress, who urged her fans to endeavor to always read medication leaflets, she was guilty of self-medication and it almost caused her her life.
In a video she shared on her Instagram page, the actress revealed she was at a movie set in Lagos when she suddenly developed some symptoms and assumed she could be suffering from malaria.
She put a call to a doctor, who prescribed a medication for her, she took the drugs without reading the mini leaflet in the tablet, to be aware of the side effects.
According to her, after taking the first dose of the medication, she reacted to the drugs but still drove to a movie set from her house in Ogun State to Lagos.
At the movie set she passed out several times, before she was eventually rushed to the hospital. On getting to the hospital Opeyemi was diagnosed with another ailment and not malaria which she assumed she had and was taking medications for.

In reaction to the viral “joke”, Toyin Abraham has appealed to Nigerians to stop the jokes because it is annoying.
In a now deleted tweet, she wrote,
“Please can we all stop with the Desmond Elliot jokes pls is actually annoying, I feel if we continue with this joke then…. kilode gan”
However, a fan warned her against interfering, otherwise she would be dragged to filth online.

Toyin replied saying that she is not on Desmond Elliot’s side but the joke needs to stop if the youths wants to be taken seriously.
“I don’t support him but the joke now is annoying cos we need to be more serious, so people can see we are serious.”

“An ingrate is an ingrate” – Eedris Abdulkareem blasts Timaya again
Nigerian hip hop artist, Eedris Abdulkareem has reignited his long-running beef with fellow singer and songwriter, Timaya.
Recall that in 2017, the ‘Mr Lecturer’ crooner said Timaya wouldn’t have been successful if not for the confidence he gave him which helped boost his career.
Timaya in a video later debunked claims that Eedris Abdulkareem was instrumental to his success.
“I was your backup artiste and you were not even appreciative. How many people have you helped? Where is them Rafioso, all those people wey dey with you?” He said.
While many thought the long-time beef between them was over, moments ago Eedris tagged Timaya an ingrate in an Instagram post while he shared a screenshot of a comment a fan made against Timaya.
Sharing the screenshot, he wrote, “An ingrate is an ingrate.”
The fans had called out Timaya for disrespecting Eedris amid claims the latter accommodated him before he found fame.
