Nigerian Singer and DMW Boss, Davido, has cried out over the situation of Nigeria.

Since the beginning of the new week, there have been series of bad news all over the media, as killings and pandemonium have occurred in some parts of the country.

The father-of-three prayed for God’s intervention because “Nigerians are tired”.

Kemi took to her page to reveal that she has uncovered the plan and she reported to the DSS to take action on the alleged kidnappers.

Reality star and winner of the Big Brother Naija “pepper dem” edition, Mercy Eke says her fans are her ultimate source of strength.

Mercy made this known in the 8th edition of the Nigerian Entertainment Conference (#NECLive8), where she appreciated her fans (Mercenaries) for continuous support.

In her words ;

Outrage as man slumps and dies in front of a bank after allegedly not being allowed to withdraw his money (video)

A yet-to-be-identified young man reportedly slumped and died in front of a bank in Rivers state, after he was allegedly refused access to his own money.

It was gathered that the deceased has been visiting the bank since Friday, April 23rd, asking to withdraw his money and even came with his next of kin, but was asked to go to the court to get an affidavit even though courts are not in session due to the ongoing strike.

According to a young lady who stormed the scene, claiming to be the man’s daughter, he was sick and had come to the bank to get money for his treatment.

The young lady and two men demanded that the bank opens the access door so they could deposit the man’s remains in the banking hall.

An eyewitness, identified as Uwaifo Obiano who shared the video on Facebook, also confirmed that the man died due to the unfriendly attitude of the bank staff.

Bose Ogulu, mother of Grammy award winner, Burna Boy has been dubbed one of the ‘International Power Players’ for 2021 by Billboard.

The talent manager who has been an active player in her son’s musical career, is said to be the Executive Producer for Burna Boy’s Grammy-winning album, Twice As Tall.

Lauding her outstanding contributions, Billboard wrote,

“Amid the pandemic, Ogulu co-executive-produced, released and promoted the Twice As Tall album from Nigeria’s breakout global star Burna Boy (aka her son, Damini Ogulu).

“He is signed to Bad Habit/Atlantic in the United States and Warner Music International for territories outside of Africa.

“Twice As Tall won best global music album at this year’s Grammy Awards. Bose has set up a publishing company through Spaceship Collective to enable Africans to own their own catalogs “so that the authenticity of our stories, our glory, our culture is sustained,” she says, “and we are empowered.”

IMSU student dies from a stray bullet allegedly fired by a soldier in Owerri

Divine Nwaneri, an 100-level student of the Imo State University (IMSU), has allegedly been shot dead by a military personnel in Owerri.

The unfortunate incident occurred around the Imo state government House Roundabout in Owerri on Sunday, April 25.

The 24-year-old was reportedly on her way home around 10pm when she was hit by a stray bullet allegedly fired by one of the soldiers stationed at the Government house.

According to a source, the Soil Science and Biotechnology student was rushed to the hospital but was confirmed dead on arrival.

The source said,

“The soldiers were shooting at a car, when Divine and others were hit by stray bullets. She was rushed to the Federal Medical Center (FMC), Owerri, where she was confirmed dead. Others are currently receiving treatment at the hospital.”

A while ago, five police officers were also confirmed dead after a bunch of hoodlums attacked the Okigwe South Area command in Imo, on Monday April 26.

Dorathy Bachor emerged the runner-up of the ‘lockdown’ edition, a feat she did not believe she could attain when she initially got into the house.

A disturbing video of late comedienne, Ada Jesus threatening to kill a man identified as Ken has surfaced online.

In the video which was shared online by actress, Rita Edochie, the late comedienne vowed to kill Ken as she emphasized that she’s a traditionalist and has killed many others in the past.

From her rant in the 13-minute-long video, one can deduce that the man which she simply identified as Ken had offended her. He accused her of scamming people of their money and this angered Ada Jesus causing her to make the video.

An angry Ada stated that if Ken should ever die, she is responsible for his death.

In her words,

“If I don’t kill Ken, let me die a disgraceful death, because in this life if you don’t mind your business you’ll die.

“I will kill you, and if I say I’ll kill you, I’ll kill you ask about those that I’ve killed, whenever I open my mouth to say that I’ll kill you, I’ll do it.

A diminutive man has shared the touching story of how his wife married him and happily started a family with him despite his physique.

According to the man, he was born a dwarf and while growing up, he was always bullied and looked down on by members of his community.

In a video shared on YouTube he revealed he met a lady who wasn’t a dwarf, but loved him unconditionally and insisted on getting married to him. Following their marriage, they were blessed with adorable kids but they suffered from dwarfism like their father.

Speaking in the video, the man recounted how he advised his wife against marrying him as he likened it to a suicidal mission. Regardless, she showered him with love, married him and have since lived a happy family life together.

A Nigerian man, Phidel James, has taken to his Facebook page to narrate how he was abducted by six gunmen in the Costain area of Lagos.

On Sunday, April 25, James shared his ordeal in the hands of the kidnappers, who brutalized him and forced him to transfer money from his bank account to them before he regained his freedom.

He wrote,

“The 14th day of April, 2021 started like every normal day for me, waking up by 4:30 am and leaving to work by 5:15 in other to beat the ever present Lekki traffic. My car was faulty and so I joined a neighbor to work on this fateful day. Unknown to me, It could easily have been my last day on earth but for Jehovah’s intervention,”

Upon alighting from my friend’s car at Costain part of Lagos, I was abducted and pushed into a waiting by Toyota Sienna bus by men with guns. The battle to see another day had begun for me.

I was severely brutalised and only escaped being killed through divine intervention. Suffice to say that all my phones, tablets wallet were collected and I was forced me to compromised my account details and funds were transferred just to buy back my life. Family and friends, my life today is a living testimony of Jehovah’s underserved kindness to mankind. I was dumped to die but Jehovah saved me.

My appreciation to the doctors at the emergency department of Luth who did their best to stabilised me before I was moved to the Guinness Eye Centre for further treatment.

Special thanks to Dr Ayo, Dr Borisade & the senior consultant Dr ILo who all battle to ensure that I regained my sight. Mrs Imoukhuede deserves a special thanks – you are phenomenal and have a golden heart. May God bless and reward you abundantly.

My near death experience in the hands of the 6 men who abducted me in a cosmopolitan city like Lagos has clearly shown that human life has become very cheap in this country.

Man allegedly stabs cousin to death over N150 in Adamawa

38-year old, Kelfari Jediel from Adamawa state has been arrested for allegedly stabbing his 20-year old cousin to death over N150.

It was gathered that the suspect and his cousin, Parambiu Alexander were at the Fotta community in Gombi Local Government area for a jo, upon the completion of the job they were paid and had to share the money amongst themselves.

The sharing of the money allegedly turned into a fight and Kelfari, a father of two murdered Parambiu during the brawl over N150 balance.

According to the suspect, Parambiu kept insisting that he must give him the money. His refusal to give him the money led to a quarrel between them.

He explained that a woman heard them fighting over the balance and settled the matter by giving Parambiu the sum of N150.

Kelfari further stated that after the woman left, the deceased insisted that the original N150 balance must be given to him, as the money the woman gave him was a gift and not the balance.

In his words,

“We were engaged in a successful plaster job on April 14, this year, after which we were paid money, after sharing it, there was a balance of N150 which I supposed to give Alex but I didn’t because I am his elder.

“At a point, a neighbor heard our counter-accusations over the balance and decided to intervene, she came to us and gave Alex N150 for peace to reign but when the woman left, Alex again resumed his initial demands saying the N150 the woman gave him was a gift, not the balance.

“I went in to inform his mother who advised that I should seek Police intervention. As I was coming out, Alex accosted me insisting on having the N150 balance.

“There and then we started fighting. He pinned me to the ground and held my neck, when I couldn’t bear the choke anymore, l drew out a knife from my waist and stabbed him on the chest”.

He said Parambiu died on the way to the health center in Fotta, after which he was apprehended by the police.

Spokesperson of the State Police Command, DSP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje, who confirmed the incident, said that investigation is ongoing after which the suspect will be charged to court for prosecution.

Although, their union has been met with mixed reactions, mostly negative, their family and friends are supportive of their decisions.

Heartbroken lady narrates how her husband cheated on her with her married friends and prayer partner

A heartbroken lady has recounted how her husband confessed to her that he was having affairs with her prayer partner and married friends.

In a lengthy post she shared on social media the lady identified as Lilian, revealed she got the shock of her life when her husband opened up about having an affair with her two closest friends who were her prayer partners and even happily married.

Narrating the heartbreaking experience, she wrote,

“I remember when I thought I was gonna end it all. It all started when I started having dreams of my man sleeping with my friends. It kept occurring and I kept asking my man but the kept ignoring the big question.

I was 5 months pregnant and my man will say it’s pregnancy that is making me see things that are not real. Our finance began to crash gradually until we were not able to eat twice a day. I prayed and fasted till yet no change. I wondered what went wrong.

Fast forward to March 2020 when I put to bed my second fruit and the lockdown came, how we managed to survive, it’s God that knows.

The dreams kept coming until April 2020 my man woke me up early in the morning that he has a confession to make. My heart pumped and I couldn’t say anything. I kept nodding my head like agama lizard and had thousands of words in my head wondering what he would say.

He said, please don’t throw our baby down, after my confession, whatever punishment you choose to give me, I deserve it.

He then said, I slept with your friends (in a faint voice, I said which of my friends). He said the two women you’re close to. I was silent, I couldn’t think straight. How can a married woman hurt her fellow married woman. In my head I was like I will destroy their home, I will bring down heaven. I couldn’t utter a word”.

Nigerian singer and former YBNL music artiste, Viktoh has on social media, shared how three years ago, he suffered financially but received no help from his friends, but now, the same friends are envious of his success.

The music star who has been out of the spotlight for a while took to his social media page to talk about his fast-rising success and the goodness that comes with it.

He wrote,

“These days it’s now a crime to be successful! And it’s sad as fuck!

Mum dies on operating table while undergoing ‘low budget’ tummy tuck plastic surgery

A 38-year-old mother of two has died a pathetic death while undergoing surgery for a low-budget tummy tuck at a clinic in Tijuana, Mexico.

It was gathered that the woman identified as Keuana Weaver, who did not tell her family she was going for the surgery, died on the operating table during the surgery in January 2021.

Keuana told her family she was thinking about having some “work done,” but did not tell them she was going to Mexico.

The mother of the deceased described her daughter’s death as heartbroken and is demanding to know what happened.

According to a report by DailyStar, the family of the deceased only discovered Keuana, who was the mother of a 13-year-old and a 1-year-old, was in Mexico when they received a call letting them know she had died.

The San Diego United Tribute claim Renee was sent a letter from the clinic offering to refund the $6,700 (£4831) cost of Keuana Weaver’s surgery.

It was learnt that Keuana isn’t the only victim of the clinic. She is allegedly one of three women who flew to the city for cosmetic work at a cosmetic surgery clinic and failed to leave unharmed.

The reality TV star recently featured on the cover of a magazine and shared beautiful photos from the shoot on her Instagram page. She also tagged the professional makeup artist on the post.

Her fans and followers gushed over the breath-taking photos, however, a troll criticized her for patronizing the make-up artiste because she is reportedly Nengi’s favourite make up artiste.

The troll also insinuated that Erica’s makeup was average compared to how the MUA beats Nengi’s face. She also alleged that the MUA doesn’t like Erica and she is better off working with people who rates her.

She wrote,

A Twitter user, Yemie Fash has cried out on the microblogging app, after a lady allegedly messaged him saying she was about to be used for rituals.

According to Yemie, the lady messaged him to tell him that she was about to be used for rituals around FUTA South gate in Akure.

He tweeted,

“A lady chatted me up a few mins ago that she was about to be used for ritual around FUTA south gate in Akure, she blocked me almost immediately after, I suspect her phone was collected from her when she was chatting with me. I av called the attention of security operatives to it.”

Earlier today, we reported of the moment, captured on camera, of three people were seen bathing on a bridge in broad daylight.

The people were clad in just red wrappers around their waist as they scrubbed their body with soap on a bridge in Ibadan. The man filming the scene is heard saying that the people came with “army” as escorts.
