Nigerian professional footballer, John Obi Mikel, has been described as an “underrated performer” during his time at Chelsea.
Obi Mikel joined Chelsea as an Attacking midfielder but was converted to a defensive midfielder under Mourinho, and maybe due to his lack of Goal threat of creative forward passes, Mikel was often times not recognized or given the praise he deserved for his defensive duties.
However, that changed today when the official Instagram page of the Uefa Champions League shared a clip of his match winning performances against Bayern, in the 2012 final match of the competition.
