A woman, Joy Fatoba, has been arrested for allegedly locking up her two-year-old twin children in a room without food for three days in Ekiti state.
It was gathered that the woman was arrested after the Ekiti State police command got a distress call from a good Samaritan who revealed the inhumane treatment the suspect subjected her children to.
Spokesman of the command, ASP Sunday Abutu, who confirmed the event said the police rescued the children and took them to the hospital for medical care.

“Today being 05/04/2021 at about 0945hrs, a distress call was received from a good Samaritan that a lady, who was later identified as Joy Fatoba of IgbaraOdo, locked up her twin babies in her room since about three days ago without food and threatened to kill them should anyone compel her to open the door.
During interrogation, the lady narrated that the father of her kids left her for Calabar during pregnancy and has refused to return to take care of her and the kids.
According to her, she could no longer fend for herself and her two kids recently because her hair dressing work started failing.
It was gathered that the two kids, who appear unhealthy, are already two years old but can neither walk nor stand on their own without support due to undernutrition. As a result the babies were immediately taken to the hospital for medical care and examination while investigation has already commenced and the Command shall ensure the safety of the kids and their Mother.”

Mother of music executive, Don Jazzy, has broken silence after the singer spilled the secret of his failed marriage to his bestfriend, Michelle.

A man from Uganda identified as Hajji Mohammad Ngobi, was moved to tears after his five wives threw a surprise party to celebrate his 57th birthday and three decades of happy peaceful marriage.
The five women, Aisha Namatende, Zulufah Nampina, Sumaya Ngobi, Hajjati Lamulal Ngobi, Aminah Namukose and Sharifah Ngobi, have been married to Ngobi for a period of 30 to 10 years. Ngobi is also the prime minister of the Nagwere clan.
According to the women, their husband had never discriminated against any of them in his treatment and ensured that he always shared all family resources equitably. Hajjati Zulufah Nampina recalled the many instances when Hajji Ngobi was considerate in his treatment.
The surprised Hajji Ngobi shed tears as he listened to speeches from his five wives and their children.

A 46-year-old Nigerian man, identified as Tolu Babatunde, is currently in search for his mother, who disappeared shortly after his birth.
The young man revealed that his mum, Kuburat Shola, disappeared few months after she gave birth to him in 1975, only to reappear in 1998 and left him again.
In a mail sent to LIB Tolu pleaded with anyone with useful information on her whereabouts to reach out to him.
In his words,
“I am in search of my mother and I have truly little details to trace her. Her name is Kuburat Shola (unfortunately, I do not have her maiden name). I do not know any of her siblings or family either.
She gave birth to me in 1975 and a few months after she disappeared only to reappear in 1998, briefly, as I only saw her on two occasions. On those occasions I tried to get more details from her, she promised to be back but never did. Although she mentioned she had other children after me (I happen to be her first).

Nigerian actress, Anita Joseph has received severe backlash on Instagram for advertising an aphrodisiac product popularly called “Kanyamata”.

According to the Actress, she became depressed after losing N450million to a business partner.
Speaking in an interview with Voice of America (Hausa Service), she said, “The reason for my post was because one Igbo man from the Niger Delta, with whom I started crude oil business, said there’s a certain amount of money I had to give for us to start the business, and that I will make half payment and then give the remaining later.

The actor took to his page on Monday evening to allege that the marriage of 80% of Nollywood actresses will crash if DNA test is conducted on their children.
According to him, the on-screen divas will run away from their marriages if a DNA test was conducted on their children. He wrote,

A Nigerian man has shared screenshots of his chat with a lady identified as Gloria, who turned down his half a million Naira diamond earring gift.
According to the gentleman, the lady was an old friend from high school and he decided to send her a diamond earring gift worth N500,000 on her birthday.
However, she turned down the gift saying it’s too expensive for her. He then shared that he wasn’t expecting anything in return as not all men do, but are just kind hearted.

Nigerian singer, Kelly Hansome has alleged that music producer, Don Jazzy, sometime ago, used the now-defunct SARS unit to arrest him.

A South African pastor who farts on the heads of his members has fired back at criticism, insisting he’s demonstrating “God’s power”.
Pastor Christ Penelope of the SevenFold Holy Spirit Ministries in the South African province of Limpopo reportedly breaks wind on the faces of his church members to supposedly help them become wealthy, it’s claimed.
Some devotees are reported to wait for months to experience the so-called “sacred blow off” and hopefully turn their fortunes around.
Images of the pastor’s practice were widely shared on the internet, with photos showing him sitting on a devotee’s head, leading to a backlash on social media.
However, Pastor Penelope, who previously hit the headlines for using condom oil to anoint his congregation, said the act of breaking wind on others started with Jesus Christ.
He told the magazine Drum,
“It started with Master Jesus when he stepped on Peter. It is the demonstration of God’s power. Just like God made Adam go into a deep sleep, it is a similar thing.
“God did anything with the body of Adam while he was on the ground in deep sleep. He was not feeling anything.
“The Bible doesn’t say anything about Adam saying ‘God, you are hurting me’. “When they wake up from the deep sleep, they will tell you that they didn’t feel anything.

Some residents of Kogi state, on Monday, April 5 flogged two men for staging a #BuhariMustGo protest in the state.
The two anti-Buhari men took to the area with placards with inscriptions that read “Buhari Must Go” — both men also used paint to write the same on a wall in the environment.
They were however intercepted by some youths in the area who told them that Kogi state is for Buhari and that such a protest is not welcomed. They used whips to flog the men as they ordered them to clean the anti-Buhari declaration they wrote on the wall.

Speaking to Journalists after she was announced as the new Miss Toddler USA America Nation 2021, Princess Kleopatra Vargas expressed gratitude to the Organisers of the pageant Contest, as she thanked her parents, for the love, guidance and support they extended to her.
She also stated that this wasn’t the first pageant crown she has received, stressing that she was 10months old when she won Baby Illinois 2016, after beating 20other Kids.
In a reaction from the Mother, she described her daughter as an outstanding kid, with several rare abilities, seldom demonstrated by other kids. She noted that with her new crown as Miss Toddler USA America Nation 2021, there will be more to expect from Princess Kleopatra Vargas.
