Popular Nollywood Actress, Kate Henshaw has responded to the love letter of a man called Hony, wrote to her on Twitter.

The man with the handle, on the micro-blogging app tried to shoot his shot at the actress, who he’s been crushing on her for years.

Kate appreciated him for the letter, adding that she does not need a sugar boy.

Lately, social media, especially Twitter has become one of the mediums where people find love and a number of people have taken advantage to shoot shots at people they like.

Hony wrote a letter in his jotter and addressed it to the actress whom he referred to as sunshine.

He wrote: “I am 30+, have an athletic body, a fitness freak; this makes me already your gym partner, AA, O+, I have Nigerian passport, we can go on bae-cation anytime, I have NI, no criminal records, no tattoo, I can cook some local dishes.”

Big Brother Naija star, Wathoni has taken to social media to share how she struggled to make ends meet before she rose to stardom.

According to the reality star, she struggled with striving in business and at the same time raising her son. Wathoni noted that her life before BBNaija was a rough part.

She revealed that many of her close friends wrote her off and constantly discouraged her that she can never succeed in business.

In a lengthy Instagram post, she wrote,

According to the story, it wasn’t the typical proposal that is common in today’s society and she probably wasn’t expecting it on that fateful day.

It is the season of ”Drawing tattoos in honor of celebrities” and it has been growing popular among some die-hard fans of these celebrities.

Popular names like Bobrisky, Naira Marley, Nkechi Sunday Blessing and Ka3na have all seen their names or likeness imprinted on a loyal fan trying to use the medium to declare love for their fave.

In other news, Reality show star, Aisha Umaru popularly known as Kaisha has tendered an apology to appease fans after she was dragged alongside Kiddwaya for allegedly kissing.

Recall that Praise threw a party to celebrate his 29th birthday and most of his fellow housemate in the BBNaija lockdown house were in attendance.

At the party, Kiddwaya was filmed attempting to kiss Kaisha and the video quickly went viral, which made Erica’s fans drag the duo for disrespecting their self-acclaimed “Star Girl”.

Kaduna state Governor Nasir El Rufai has said that Nigeria has the highest number of poor people among the countries of the world.

Governor El-Rufai stated this while launching the State Social Protection Policy on Tuesday, February 23.

In his words

Yet, whenever a programme is designed to help the poor and vulnerable, we resort to a slot mentality in which important people are allocated slots instead of targeting those poor and vulnerable that deserve it. A woman believed to be a commercial sex worker has been arrested by the police in Ebonyi state for trying to sell her baby for N40,000.

The 32-year-old woman identified as Victoria Chukwube, was arrested while trying to sell her four-month-old baby boy to raise money to start a business of selling drinks.

Ebonyi state police spokesperson, Loveth Odah said Chukwube was arrested following a tip off.

Odah said;

“So her name is Chukwube Victoria, she told us she is a commercial sex hawker and that she has this baby which she carrying.

“She said if she leaves here she would continue to look out for prospective buyers.

“But we tried to talk to her and to make her see the value of being a mother, but she refused.

“She even told us that if we allow her to go home with the baby she will throw the baby away and that she can’t tell who got her pregnant.”

Upon being interrogated, the lady refused to disclose her state of origin or local government but maintained that she does not have the financial ability to take care of the child.

Chukwube said;

“I am from Nigeria, 32 years old, a commercial sex hawker and my baby is just four months old.

“I want to sell the baby at the rate of N40,000 to start up a business. I have a fridge and I reside at Ogbe Hausa in Abakaliki.”

Woman confesses to sleeping with snakes and eating human flesh on live radio show

Cecilia Wambui, a 26-year-old Kenyan woman confessed on a live radio show that she once ate human flesh and made love to snakes.

Wambui who was a guest on the Radio Maisha Morning Show opened up that poverty forced her to commit satanic rituals in order to attract rich men.

She told the radio host, Emmanuel Mwashumbe that she was spiritually imprisoned by a satanic church which forced her to sleep with evil spirits, snakes and eat human flesh.

Speaking further, she alleged that the pastor of the church brainwashed her and forced her to marry a church member who she had known for a very short time. She also revealed that the pastor tormented her in her dreams and told her not to seek medical attention when she fell ill because God will heal her.

According to her she has lost count of abortions she underwent after the first. She disclosed that between the ages of 17 and 25 she bedded over a hundred men and was married five times.

“I was 17, and in Form Four when I met a driver who made a pass at me. Coming from a very poor family, I was impressed that he owned a TV, gas cooker and radio. I eloped with him but we broke up within three months. I was pregnant for him but I terminated the pregnancy

I sought to get saved and was introduced to a fake church where I used to sleep with spirits. I could just sit and find myself in mortuaries and burials.

I joined the church in February and didn’t feel the need to sleep with men as spirits would satisfy my needs. It got to a point where I was addicted and wanted to see gory images like dead bodies being washed in the morgue.

They had brainwashed me; the pastor told me to give him all household items as they were bought by ‘sponsors’. They organized marriage with one of the church members saying ‘heaven had decided that I marry him’- we had known each other for three weeks.

Whenever I slept, I dreamed of the pastor telling me to touch his privates, and a black snake would appear. I used to enjoy it and felt it was okay. The snake would appear whenever I closed my eyes; I feared sleeping in matatus (Kenyan commuter omnibuses). I started getting sick but the pastor told me I should not go to the hospital as ‘God would heal me”.

A 91-year-old woman has married the love of her life, a 73-year-old man in a grand wedding after dating him for over 10 years.

The woman identified as Evelina Meadder tied the nuptial knot to her long term boyfriend Calgent Wilson who is 73 years old in a grand wedding in Jamaica.

According to a report by the Mirror, the newly-wed’s love story could be traced to 2009 when Evelina fell sick and Calgent, a farmer, took care of her until she recovered.

Police Arrest Two Ex-convicts For Alleged Armed-Robbery In Ogun (Photo)

Two ex-convicts, Abiodun Oshoba and Mustapha Sakiru have been arrested by operatives of the Ogun State police command for allegedly dispossessing one Aminu Iliyasu of his Bajaj motorcycle with registration number SGM 965 VQ at gunpoint.

A statement released by Abimbola Oyeyemi, spokesperson of the state police command, says that the suspects were arrested following a complaint lodged at Shagamu police station by the victim who reported that the two suspects boarded his motorcycle as passengers and asked him to take them to conference hotel at G.R.A quarters Sagamu.

On their way to the place, the suspects brought out a gun and ordered him to stop. They subsequently dispossessed him of the motorcycle and made away with it.

Upon the report, the DPO Shagamu division, CSp Okiki Agunbiade mobilized his men and in-conjunction with members of vigilante group blocked all the exit points of the GRA and commenced stop and search.

Their efforts yielded positive result when the motorcycle was sighted at one of the exit point, riding by Abiodun Oshoba with the plate number folded.

“On sighting the policemen, He abandoned the bike and took to his heels. He was chased and apprehended by the policemen. His arrest led to the apprehension of his accomplice, Mustapha Sakiru. A locally made pistol with one live cartridge was recovered from them.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the duo met in Igbeba prison where they served different jail terms and decided to form a gang after their terms in the prison.

While Sakiru Mustapha was jailed in 2016 for hijacking a truck, Abiodun Oshoba was jailed in 2019 for snatching a phone; both of them came out of prison in 2020 and decided to continue their devilish trade.” the statement read.

Oyeyemi added that the state Commissioner of Police, CP Edward A. Awolowo has ordered the transfer of the suspects to State Criminal investigation and intelligence department for discreet investigation and prosecution.

The post has since generated mixed reactions on the gram as some netizens have questioned if the car is truly his.

Popular Nollywood actress, Nkechi Blessing Sunday has berated a fan who tattooed her initials ‘NBS’ on her arm.

The fan identified as Oyindamola shared a photo of her new tattoo which reads, “NBS to the world”, and professed her unwavering love for the actress while she highlighted the life lessons she has learnt from her.

Sharing the photo on social media, she wrote,

“Nbs to the world !!!! Love you momma. Golden heart momma @nkechiblessingsunday

Nigerian singer, Folarin Falana aka Falz, who recently went bald for the first time in his life, has averred that his head deserves an Headies award.

The “Squander” hit maker took to his Instagram page to share a photo of himself speaking at the 14th Headies awards ceremony, after he received his award.

The singer emerged winner of the “Best Rap Single” award category with his ‘Bop Daddy’ hit track, which featured British rapper, MS Banks.

The song was used in a viral transformation challenge on TikTok during the COVID-19 lockdown period in 2020.

He shared the photo and wrote, “Head yii deserve Headie”.

How popular Abuja-based cleric, Prophet Omale prophesied Sunday military plane crash

Reports of how the founder and Lead pastor of the Divine Hand of God Prophetic Ministries International, based in Abuja, prophet Emmanuel Omale, foresaw the military plane crash that happened in Nigeria’s capital, Abuja last Sunday has begun serving rounds on the internet.

The plane crash occurred near the Abuja airport at the weekend, left all military officials on board dead. A video that’s now circulating the internet shows Omale revealing that the incident could happen and called on Nigerians to pray to avert it.

The Nigerian Air Force plane had an engine failure on Sunday, leading to the death of seven people. The incident happened near the Abuja airport.

But in a video which was part of 2021 prophecies published in January this year, the senior pastor hinted on the incident and called for prayers for it to be averted.

Omale released 32 prophecies for the running year and the 14th prophecy is specifically on the crash.

He had asked Nigerians to pray so as to avert the negative impact of the prophecy.

Omale, however, prayed for the souls of those that lost their lives in the crash during his church service on Monday, asking God to grant the family, loved ones and the entire nation the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss.

Police arrest pickpocket, dismissed soldier for robbery in Lagos

Officers of the Lagos state Police Command have arrested a pickpocket and a dismissed soldier for robbery.

According to reports, the 27-year-old pickpocket identified as Ayomide Sikiru disclosed that he had stolen 240 mobile phones from commuters in Lagos, since he started operation one year and two months ago.

The dismissed soldier was however arrested in another operation while he was in the company of an accomplice, robbing residents of the Aguda Axis of Lagos.

The pickpocket, Ayomide Sikiru, 27, a resident of Akala, Mushin, was arrested around 10:00 p.m on Sunday, after he successfully picked a Tecno Camon 12 from the hand bag of an elderly woman when she was trying to board a commercial bus to Ojodu-Berger, Lagos.

Sikiru, who disclosed that it took him 15 days to learn the criminal act, revealed that he operated between Thursdays and Saturdays only.

His modus operandi included boarding a bus and removing phones from ladies hand bags or men’s pockets.

Luck however ran against him after he was confronted by the owner of the phone.

During interrogation, he said:

“I live in Akala, Mushin. I don’t use charm. Someone taught me how to pickpocket. I followed him out for 15 days and watched how he did it until I became perfect. I only operated at night, sometimes when passengers were sleeping inside the bus or rushing to board a commercial bus. I have so far stolen 240 phones. I sell them to ready buyers”.

The Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi , who confirmed the arrest, said phones had been handed over to their owners.
