A Twitter user Adeola with the handle @dearolaa has shared the story of how her friend met a man two months ago, got pregnant by him and was asked to get an abortion.

Adeola said her friend later discovered that the man has been married for five years; information he hid from her.

”This guy impregnated my friend and told her to go take it out. It’s so sad. Another confirmation that men are scum. They met two months ago on her birthday and she found out she’s pregnant now. I kept wondering why a comfortable guy who says he loves you won’t want to settle down.

I advise she finds out more about him because his Instagram only has his business posts. No family portraits or anything. Check his Facebook I advised. After a long digging she found a post he was tagged on five years ago. It was his wedding pictures.

Guinness Book of World Records has honoured Nigerian athlete, Blessing Okagbare for beating Usain Bolt to become a Guinness World Record holder.

Blessing was the only athlete to have attended the Athletics Diamond Meetings 67 times, beating Usain Bolt, the previous record holder to achieve the feat.

Delta Poly allegedly bans students from driving cars on campus

The management of Delta State Polytechnic Ogwashi-Uku has allegedly banned her students from driving cars within the school premises.

An alleged student of the institution took to Twitter to share a photo of a banner supposedly by the school administration, banning cars owned by students from entering campus.

According to the banner, students are prohibited from entering the school with their cars for security reasons.

The banner reads, “Students cars are banned from entry for security reasons”.

Meanwhile the Twitter user who took to the micro-blogging platform to share the banner suggest that students cars were banned from entering the institution of learning due to perceived oppression from students.

Court remands Singer Lil Frosh in Ikoyi Prison till March 2021

Nigerian singer, Lil Frosh has been remanded at the Ikoyi Correctional Centre till March 9, 2021, over the alleged assault on his ex-girlfriend Gift Camille.

Recall that the former DMW signee was called out by Camille’s manager after he assaulted her to the extent that she was left with bruises and a swollen face.

According to the manager with twitter handle @MayoksMichael, Lil Frosh has been physically abusing his sister for about a year and has brought nothing but pain, horror and disaster to her.

He stated that the artiste would lock her up in a room, beat her to pulp then pour water on her. Further adding that he would sometimes record a video of her naked and threaten to post it online

Gift in a post shared on her Instagram page also alleged that she had been in a relationship with the musician since January 2020 and that anytime they had a disagreement, he would violently attack her, leaving her with serious bodily injuries.

However, a suit against Lil Frosh was filed before the Lagos state Magistrate court in Yaba with the help of the International Association Of Women Lawyers, Lagos State branch.

At the hearing on Tuesday, February 9th, the presiding judge, Magistrate Adeola Olatunbosun, adjourned the case till March 9th, 2021 and ordered that the singer be remanded at the Ikoyi Correctional Center.

Yoruba rights activist, Sunday Igboho, on Tuesday, accused the Federal Government of freezing his bank accounts, following his attack on the killer-herdsmen in Oyo State.

Speaking with Vanguard, Igboho confirmed that all his accounts have been frozen by the Federal Government because some people were collecting donations with his name.

However, the freedom fighter said he had no hands in the said donations, warning that his accounts must be unfrozen to avoid mass protest by youths across the South-West region.

His words: “They have frozen my bank accounts because I am fighting a just course. I know Yoruba people are behind me.

“I will not relent. I must achieve my aims by putting an end to criminalities in Yorubaland.

“If they refuse to release my accounts, there will be serious protests across the South-West.

Nollywood actress, Didi Ekanem has recounted how she miraculously survived a fatal car accident exactly a year ago, January 2020.

The actress who took to her verified Instagram page to share photos from the accident revealed she’s yet to get over the trauma even after one year.

Didi also disclosed that there was casualty as the victim while trying to run, ran in front of the car and was hit to the pole.

Recounting the traumatic incident, she wrote,

“This time last year, the devil tried it. I woke up on the morning of that day feeling very uneasy. As I was about to step out of the house, something told me to pray… then I started praying aggressively for one hour after which I got into my car and left.

“So on my way to the market, my brake failed completely and there was traffic on the road, and right in front of me was a school bus filled with children. I started screaming and suddenly , my car diverted and then hit the bridge pole like 3 times .

“For a second, I thought I will come out with either a broken head, smashed face, unconscious or even dead but Mercy said no, and brought me out of the car unhurt.

“Yes there was casualty as the victim while trying to run unfortunately ran in front of the car and was hit to the pole . I was so scared that he’ll die but again, Mercy said no… and took that burden away from me . Sadly he was in the hospital for a few days.

“Till now, I haven’t gone to the police station to retrieve my car cos of the trauma. Every time I pass that road to the market, the fear that grips me. But in all, I give God all the glory. The story could have been worse but the mercy of God prevailed mightily. If that man had died, I probably would have been in jail by now… and even after I come out would have lived with guilt for the rest of my life. Thank You Lord for loving me the way you do…. 🙏🙏🙏”. She wrote.

So in my room, we’re 4, 2 elites and 1 explora and I’m the the ninja TBH, it might seem like it’s just BBN stanship but this girls attitudes towards me has changed since we resumed, I know we weren’t so close but now they’re cold towards me.

“I talked to them about it and one of them told me straight up that she can’t vibe with a Ninja, to say I was shocked is an understatement. Like I really dunno how to cope with them for a whole session, it’s school hostel so I can’t even change roomies. The founder of NdiIgbo and Friends, who had clocked a new age on February 5, 2021, reportedly passed away in the early hours of Tuesday, February 9.

Friends of the deceased have taken to Facebook in shock to mourn her sad demise.

Zeb Ejiro Announces Chico Ejiro’s Burial Arrangements

Veteran movie director, Zeb Ejiro has announced the burial arrangements for his brother, Chico Ejiro, who died on Christmas Day last year.

Ejiro revealed this to News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Monday.

He said Chico will be laid to rest on February 20.

Ejiro also said that the burial programme, designed in line with COVID-19 protocols, would start with a service of songs on February 16.

The service of songs tagged ‘Industry Evening of Tribute’ would be aired via zoom.

Chico will be buried at the Ejiro’s compound, Ozoro, Isoko North LGA of Delta.

“The obsequies, which is the service of songs for Chico my late brother, will be a private family event which would also be on zoom. The arrangements are basically to bring the COVID-19 protocols to bear.

“We considered that throwing it open will pull crowd as people will want to be physically present, so we are taking advantage of the zoom for people to key-in,” he said.

Chico died in the early hours of Christmas Day December 25, 2020 from suspected cardiac arrest.

Nicknamed Mr Prolific by journalist Azuh Arinze, Chico was mourned by so many Nollywood actors.

They include Richard Mofe-Damijo, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde, Regina Askia, Yul Edochie, Ik Ogbonna and Femi Jacobs.

Chico married his wife Joy Ejiro in 1998. They have four children together.

NDLEA intercepts 40 parcels of cocaine worth N32 billion in Lagos (photos)

Two suspected drug-traffickers met their waterloo as they were intercepted by operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency NDLEA with 40 parcels of Cocaine weighing 43.11kilogram (100.05pds), estimated at more than N32 billion.

According to the NDLEA, the seizure was made at the Tincan command on Monday, February 8.

The anti-drug agency said the consignment containing the illicit drug was put under surveillance by operatives of the Tincan Command for some days until two clearing agents showed up on Monday, February 8, 2021 to clear them.

The suspected traffickers were immediately arrested while the banned substances were confiscated.

Popular Nigerian singer, Oritsefemi has denied ever inviting strange women into his home for sex, while his wife was away.

This is in reaction to an allegation made by his wife Nabila Fash, who called out a lady whom she claimed comes to her home to have sex when she is not around.

She wrote on Instagram on Monday:

“Whoever the imbecile is that came to my house while I was away at work to have sex, you need to identify yourself. It was shocking news when it was posted a few months back, but now I can confirm. On a Monday morning, when people are out to look for daily bread some people, it is sex that is their problem.”

“Women it is not wrong to love! It is not wrong to give a second chance! It is not wrong to want to protect your home/marriage! What is wrong is to continue to be a fool and not know your worth,” she wrote.

However, Oritse Femi stated that his wife’s posts are not about him. He denied inviting strange women into his matrimonial home or cheating on his wife.

He further said that his marriage is intact.

“I have seen all the news reports about me online and I do not understand what it is all about. My wife went online to write some things but they are not about me. I do not invite women into my matrimonial home. My wife’s post is not about me. It is about my friend, my very close friend that came in from London. He stayed with me and she was upset that I allowed my friend to bring women into our house.

Globacom in a statement in Lagos on Monday said that the offer is open to Glo subscribers who purchase two smartphones from any of the GloWorld outlets across the country, adding that the promo would run between February 8 and 22, 2021.

“This offer is our way of adding flavour to our customers’ Valentine Season enjoyment. We expect that our customers will be engaged in a lot of online activities before and around February 14, so we decided to make it easier for them to buy devices at affordable prices for themselves and their loved ones”, Globacom stated.

A young Nigerian man is set to wed his Akwa Ibom girlfriend, but was taken aback by the outrageous engagement list given to him by the bride’s family.

The list detail various items expected from the groom before their engagement which is meant to hold in the lady’s hometown in Akwa Ibom state.

According to the Twitter user who took to platform to share the outrageous list, the man in question allegedly fled at the sight of the list.

In his words, “Someone went to marry In Akwa ibom, this is the list he was given. He ran away”

Meanwhile the list has sparked outrage on social media as many described the list of items to be brought as overly outrageous and inconsiderate on the part of the bride’s family.

Meanwhile, another Twitter user @_noHANDLE had taken to the platform to also share a marriage list, which according to him was given to his sister’s fiance’s friend by his in-laws from Akwa Ibom State.

According to him, the marriage list got him ‘crying’ and he couldn’t help but share. His tweet reads,

“So my sister’s fiancé’s friend is getting married, she’s from Akwa Ibom Here is a list of demands from her family, I’m still crying for him”

A man has reportedly been hospitalized after discovering that he’s not the biological father of two of his three children.

It was gathered that the man took the children for DNA test only to discover that he’s not the father of two of the kids, after the results were out.

The aggrieved man immediately called his wife to demand an explanation and was met with a greater shock when she told him that he can still take all of them as his own.

The man who has been heartbroken since the incident allegedly slumped and was rushed to the hospital.

A Twitter user who claimed to be the man’s nephew took to the platform to shared the shocking incident.

He tweeted,

“My uncle just did a DNA test and he found out that two out of the three are not his children, then he called his wife and ask her just to confirm about it and the only rubbish she said was that “you can still take them as your own.

“RN my uncle has been hospitalized fighting for his life to survive”.

Media personality and BBNaija show host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, has opined that dream of every Nigerian is to leave the country.

In a recent tweet he stated that the dream of every Nigerian is to reside in Canada while declaring how proud they are of the country, Nigeria.

Nigerian radio personality, talk show host, had taken to Twitter to inquire about the ideal Nigerian dream.

”What is the Nigerian dream?”, she wrote.

In response, Ebuka stated that the ideal Nigerian dream is living in Canada and putting an image of the Nigerian flag on one’s social media page.

“To put Nigerian flag in your bio from Canada.” He tweeted.

Meanwhile, the Big Brother Naija host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu has shared a near death experience he had with men of the Nigerian police in 2005.

Recounting the ordeal, Ebuka stated that on November 14th, 2005, six days after he was called to the Nigerian Bar, an unknown man in mufti, he thought was an armed robber trailed their car while he was with his friends.

He added that he and his friends got to a police checkpoint around Olusegun Obasanjo way, in Abuja, only to be ambushed by six policemen who fired gunshots at their car.

According to him, one of his friends was hit by a bullet on the shoulder, and still carry’s the scar till date.

The reality TV star noted that the call for a total reform of the Nigerian Police Force, is not just a hashtag on Twitter, but a reality. He added that despite the disbandment of the SARS unit, Nigerians still suffer brutality and killings, in the hands of the police.
