Nigerian lady commits suicide after she was falsely accused of stealing a large sum of money by her mother and grandmother
A Nigerian lady reportedly committed suicide after she was falsely accused of theft by her mother and grandmother.
According to a Twitter user, Muhyba who shared the story on the platform, the deceased who was accused of stealing a large sum of money by her mother and grandmother resolved to suicide when she couldn’t prove her innocence.
Muhybah described the lady has naturally boisterous and revealed she ended her life a day after posting about the Grammys.
Sharing an alleged chat between the deceased and her mother, alongside a voice note she sent her mum before she took her life, the Twitter user wrote,
“On the 15th of March 2021, I found out about the most disturbing news; a close friend of mine took her life. It was the unbelievable because she was literally fine the night before, posting about the Grammys only to find out she was dead some hours later.
She killed herself.
This is the most vibrant person I’ve ever known. What happened? Almost no one could answer the question at the time and most of us just seemed to assume it was depression and she was just masking it with a smile. I have known her for a long time and even with personal issues, it never got so bad that she’d actually take her own life. I found it too hard to believe.
So I did some digging to the best of my abilities. I discovered it wasn’t entirely depression. It was family issues and ultimately emotional abuse that pushed her off the edge. I was able to get some chats before the family seized her phone. Chats between her and her mother. Apparently, her and her grandma accused her of taking a large amount of money which she had nothing to do with.She pleaded with them of her innocence and it seemed it had been happening for a while but no one believed her. I will attach the chats below. She was reaching her breaking point due to the constant emotional abuse from her family. They threatened to arrest her for a crime she didn’t commit.
She reached her limit and reached out to them one last time but all they did was more threats and emotional and mental abuse. She bought sniper, snapped it and told them of what was coming, they didn’t seem to care. She took her life over something that could’ve have been avoided. I am posting this because I have been seeing strange comments regarding her death. Stop your speculations.
I also want to raise awareness on the affects of words of family members, especially parents and guardians. My friend died because she was bullied by her own family so much that she felt alienated.
“If you can’t be kind, don’t have kids. Stop bring children to this world to suffer. Parents should learn how to show their children love and affection, most times parents care only about physical health and not mental health”.

@Linovin_ who looks Asian is currently undergoing the one-year National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in Ede, Ekiti State.
Sharing a photo of himself on micro-blogging platform, Twitter, he wrote, “Nigerian. Always and forever.”
The photo has generated thousands of reactions from Nigerians as the big question in the hearts of many is about his root.
Some opined that he could be an inter-racial kid, while others said that he may be a naturalized Nigerian.

Baby shark caught in the same Rivers Community where a Blue Marlin fish was caught
A baby shark was caught by a local fisherman on Thursday, March 18, at Oyorokotor fishing settlement in Andoni Local Government Area of Rivers State.
This comes weeks after a Blue Marlin fish was caught in the same fishing settlement.

Final year female student killed in church building collapse
Lorita Blessy Asimwe, a final year student of Uganda Christian University (UCU) was killed after a church collapsed in Kampala.
It was gathered that Asimwe was due to graduate on July 2, 2021, with a Bachelor of Human Resource Management, having sat for her final exams in January.
However, she suffered injuries when a ceiling of an auditorium collapsed on her and other congregants at the House of Rest Church at Fido Dido building in Kampala, during lunch hour prayers on Monday, March 15.
Asimwe was rushed to the Mulago National Referral Hospital where she died on on Tuesday, March 16 and was laid to rest on Wednesday, March 17th, at Kangulumira in Kayunga District.
Speaking at the funeral Mr Emmanuel Opolot, a cousin of the deceased, revealed she was a charming and jovial budding entrepreneur.
He said,
“She was a very jolly person and a sister who would always send me a message every morning to check on me. She has been a source of joy to us as a family.
“Being the first born, we had a lot of hope in her. Even when she was a lively person, she was also a responsible citizen because she had a small business of Chupa ku Chupa from which she would earn a living and also support her sisters. Chupa ku Chupa was a deal she had endorsed with beverage distributors to promote their brands”.
Ms Molly Kangume, a course mate of the deceased, described Asimwe’s passing as a shock, adding that she was at a social event with friends the previous day.
“I got the news through her best friend. It was so shocking because at the weekend, she was out with her friends and even posted everything on her Facebook status,” Ms Kangume said.

A Nigerian man in diaspora, Mr Forlan has advised other Nigerians who desire to leave their fatherland for a greener pasture abroad to have a rethink.
According to Forlan, who resides in Europe, contrary to what many Nigerians believe, living abroad can be very difficult.
He made this shocking revelation in an exclusive interview with Legit, Forlan averred that living abroad is very hard and seems to be only designed for the benefit of indigenes and nationals of the country not migrants.
Speaking further, he revealed that he owns a farm in Nigeria that is cultivated and tilled by workers under his payroll, however, he lamented about how difficult it is to start a business in Europe.
In his words, “If the paper works for approval and takeoff doesn’t deter you, the taxes will”.
“People dey say Europe, Europe…Say once you come na heaven you dey come. No be heaven. Na the same thing wey dey here na im still dey Nigeria. Nigeria, God bless us wey be say if our leaders dey do well, nobody suppose leave the country dey come Europe,” Forlan said in pidgin.

Teenage Girl allegedly stabs her brother to death for questioning her movement
A teenage secondary school student identified as Biletiri Idowu Ruth, has been arrested for allegedly stabbing her brother, Kehinde Joshua Biletiri, 22, to death for questioning her movement.
It was gathered that the incident happened on Thursday, March 19, 2021, at around 8am at their residence at Igbokoda area of Ondo State.
According to an eyewitness ; “Her brother accosted for sleeping out which led to an argument and she picked up a knife and stabbed him with it. He was rushed to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. Meanwhile, Ruth has been whisked to the police station”.
So apparently news was flying around that this 15year old lady stabbed her brother 17year old to death in Igbokoda town, Ondo South. It was said that he told/warned her against sleeping out.

Nigerian Disc Jockey and Singer, Florence Otedola who is popularly known as DJ Cuppy, has forgiven Davido’s Logistics Assitant, Israel DMW, weeks after she threatened to sue him.
Recall that last month, the Billionaire daughter sued Israel for ‘defamation and libel’ following his assertion that she owes Zlatan Ibile royalties for his contribution on their hit track, Gelato.
Israel was forced to retract his statement and offer an apology and it has finally been accepted by DJ Cuppy as she says she will no longer proceed with the lawsuit.

Man falsely declared dead, parades himself in Awka to show he is alive
A Nigerian man, identified as Aiza Nwosu has taken to the streets of Awka, the capital city of Anambra State, to declare that he is alive after being reported dead.
Aiza who is a popular MC and Town crier in the state was falsely reported dead weeks ago, after a ghastly auto accident he was involved in.
Viral reports claimed that his family have reportedly been in mourning since the sad incident which they thought took his life.
However, in a shocking twist of events, while family and friends were expecting Aiza’s body to be transported in an ambulance to his family home for burial, the ambulance was riding empty, while he was seen waving to the cheering crowd from another SUV behind.
To replace an obituary, the car had a sticker on it which declared that Aiza is still part of the living and not dead as falsely reported. The sticker read, “Aiza Nwosu is alive”.

A northern bride left her groom and wedding guest astonished after she made grand entrance in her flowing wedding dress with wings cape.
In the video serving rounds on social media, the bride walked up to her husband in her unique wedding dress, which was styled as an angel. The outfit also had yellow wings and a blue cape.

Adenike Adeleke, the cousin of Nigerian music executive, David Adeleke a.k.a Davido, turned 26 on Wednesday, March 18, and all the women in the singer’s life celebrated her.
Davido’s baby mamas, Chioma Avril and Amanda and his alleged new girlfriend, Mya Yafia, took to to their respective Instagram pages to show her love.
This follows reports that Mya is the singer’s latest bae after they were spotted holding hands at St. Maarten few weeks ago, visited him in Nigeria in December and also spent some time with him in Ghana in January.
Davido’s women obviously loves and respect his family members despite the expected differences, as they showered love on Adenike on her birthday.
