A young Nigerian lady identified as Rachel Atinuke, has hit the street to beg for job shortly after completing her one year national youth service.
Atinuke who passed out alongside other 2020 Batch ‘A’, National Youth Service Corps Members, yesterday, February 18th, took to the street to look for job, moments after her passing out parade (POP).
The lady who desperately doesn’t want to join the long list of unemployed graduates, took to the streets on Thursday with a placard to beg for a job while still wearing her NYSC uniform.
The placard contained her email address, degree qualification and a plea for job. According to her she bagged a Bachelor’s degree in Guidance and Counseling.
It reads,
”PLS I NEED A JOB… B(ED) GUIDANCE & COUNSELLING, [email protected], GOD BLESS NIGERIA”
In reaction to her tweet, netizens advised her to get something to do for herself while she wait for a white collar job.

Social media users are rallying round support for a Black American man who was convicted for stealing $9 and has already spent 38 years in jail.
Netizens launched a petition for Simmons on Change.org with the intention of seeking his release by way of a court commutation.
According to the petition details, the man, an Army veteran with the US military, was prosecuted in 1982.
He had three prior convictions, one of which was for grand larceny. He told reporter Beth Shellbure the other two were for receiving stolen property.
Mr. Simons was convicted of 1st-degree robbery and sentenced to life without parole for stealing $9, a crime for which he has spent the last 38 years in prison.
Over the years Mr. Simmons has filed several appeals without any legal assistance. All of his appeals were denied, and based on a 2014 change in Alabama laws, it appears that he has no appeal options left. In the interest of

Ondo state Governor, Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu, has said that any cow seen wandering on the streets of Akure, will be arrested.
This comes after the South West government banned open grazing.
According to Akeredolu, his government will put an end to open grazing in the state.
In a recent interview with TCV, the Governor said;
‘We are banning open grazing. If I see a cow I will arrest it. They can’t move in Akure town. We wouldn’t allow it. It is not going to happen. We must put an end to it”
Nigerian singer, Stanley Omah Didia aka Omah Lay, has cried out on social media over the theft of his personal gadgets at the airport.
According to the ”Godly” crooner, his laptop and other personal belongings were stolen at a yet-to-be-known airport.
The 23-year-old artiste made this known in a post on his Twitter page on Thursday evening. He said that unknown persons stole his laptop, microphone, and audio interface from his bag.

Actress, Rosy Meurer who is now married to Olakunle Churchill, the ex-husband of Tonto Dikeh, says what she was accused of has now become her reality and fate as she has eventually married Churchill. According to her, she allowed God’s will to take its course in her life.
Recall that after her marriage to Churchill crashed, Tonto in an interview accused Rosy of sleeping with Churchill. Rosy vehemently denied the allegation then, stating that Churchill was like a “brother” to her.
On Monday, February 15, Rosy and Churchill revealed they have been married for a while now. Rosy in a Q&A with her followers on IG revealed that he proposed to her two years ago and that they got hitched a year ago.

Rosy denied claims of being responsible for Churchill’s failed marriage to Tonto Dikeh. She said;

That statement he is like a brother to me simply meant he is family. Mr Churchill has always been there for my family and I and it has always been that way.
Was I ever attracted to him or have I ever looked at him in any other way? No! Was he ever attracted to me? Who knows? That is not something I have control over. I was in a relationship. I was happy. A relationship that went sour due to the banter online when some accusations were made. Did I kill myself? No! I moved on. Life goes on.
After Mr Churchill got married, things were still the same. He was still there for my family and I. He will take my siblings and I out. I would invite friends, male or female. Joe Ligon, who was sentenced to life imprisonment at age 15 has been released from a Pennsylvania prison after spending 68 years behind bars.
Ligon who is now 83-year-old, was convicted of taking part in a string of robberies and assaults with a group of drunk teens which left two people dead in Philadelphia in 1953.
A hearing found Ligon guilty of two counts of first-degree murder, and Ligon admitted to stabbing at least one of the eight people stabbed that day but his attorney, Bradley Bridge said his client maintains he never killed anyone.
“The child that committed those crimes back in 1953 no longer exists. The person that came out of prison in 2021 is 83 years old, has grown, changed, and is no longer a threat,”
“He has amply repaid society for the damage and harm that he did. And now, it’s appropriate that he spends the last years of his life in freedom.,” his lawyer said.
In a chat with CNN, Ligon said, “I’m a grownup now, I’m not a kid anymore. Not only am I a grown man, I’m an old man and getting older every day.”
In the 1970s, Ligon and his accomplices were granted the option of clemency from Pennsylvania’s governor. But since clemency meant being on parole, Ligon rejected it.
He turned down another offer of parole in 2017, stating parole would not grant him the freedom he desired after decades in prison.
“The state parole board presumably would have released him but on condition that he would be under their supervision for the rest of his life.
“He chose not to seek parole under those terms.” Bridge said
Bridge, who has represented Ligon for 15 years now, ultimately argued that a mandatory life sentence for a crime Ligon committed as a juvenile was unconstitutional.
Bridge brought the case to the federal court and won the issue in November 2020, which ultimately granted Ligon freedom under his own terms in 2021.
A lecturer of Alvan Ikoku Federal College of Education (AIFCE) has slumped to his death whilst in a lecture hall.
In was gathered that, the lecturer identified as Mike Echetama who is a senior lecturer at the institution, reportedly slumped and died in a lecture hall on Tuesday, February 16th.
According to a report by NAN, the institution’s acting public relations officer, Joseph Okwulehi confirmed the sad incident.
“I can confirm to you that a senior lecturer slumped in a classroom on Tuesday and was confirmed dead at the Federal Medical Center (FMC), Owerri.” He said.
Friends, families, students and colleagues have since taken to social media to mourn the demise of their loved one.

The Minister of Defense, Bashir Magashi, is currently under fire on social media for telling Nigerians to stop being cowards and stand up against bandits.
Magashi made this statement at the National Assembly on Wednesday, February 17, while reacting to the abduction of staff and students of Government Science College in Niger state.
In his words,

A video serving rounds on social media has captured the moment a Nigerian man was cussing out a lady, after DNA test revealed that he is not the father of the baby she tried pinning on him.
Recall that the Nigerian man and his pregnant girlfriend were recently spotted publicly engaging in a verbal fight over the lady’s 8-month-old pregnancy.
The estranged lovers argued about the paternity of the child. While the pregnant lady insisted that the Nigerian man is the father of her unborn child, he denied being responsible for it.

Drama Evangelist, Mike Bamiloye has revealed why he refused to celebrate his wife on social media when she turned 57 on February 4th, 2021.
According to the Founder and President of Mount Zion Faith Ministries, he resisted the urge to shower praises on his wife, Gloria Bamiloye on social media for fear of backlash by “social media militants”.
Mike Bamiloye recalled how the General Overseer of Redeemed Christian Church of God, received heavy backlash on social media months ago for praising his wife, Foluke Adeboye.
He opened up about restraining himself from showering encomium on his wife who has similar qualities with Folu Adeboye, when he remembered how feminists on social media attacked Pastor Adeboye, last year for listing out his wife’s wonderful qualities on social media.
In series of thread on Twitter, Mike Bamiloye wrote,
“Sometimes ago, when My Daddy, Pastor Enoch Adeboye said Mummy Folu Adeboye is very humble and submissive, the Internet and Social Media broke loose and some bees of people went after him.

The singer’s boyfriend and fellow reality star, recently featured in a movie titled, “Sis rose” by Blessing uzi.
In the movie, Sister Rose was a reverend sister who’s in love with Valentine (NEO), but is restricted from going to see her boyfriend because of her position as a Reverend sister. However, on Valentine’s day, she decided to take a drastic decision to visit Neo.
Neo, in the movie kissed and touch Sister Rose, and his girlfriend, Vee has taken to Twitter to speak about his character in the movie.
In what seemed like a sarcastic comment, Vee revealed that seeing her lover, Neo kissing another lady in a movie made her sweat profusely.

A young Nigerian lady has taken to social media to lament after facing several rejections and insults due to her skin colour.
The beautiful lady, Mariam Besty Sule who is dark skinned, revealed that the society has made her so uncomfortable in her skin, that she resorted to editing her photos before posting them on social media platforms.
According to her she has lost several job opportunities due to her complexion and some people jokingly call her names like “black board”.
In a lengthy Facebook post, she wrote,
“I’m very uncomfortable in my own skin, I edit my pictures lighter than my skin color because of how the society makes me feel about it,” she wrote on Thursday, February 18.
“A lot of time I was called different names as joke, but I noticed I was actually affected by it.. the ridiculous jokes of “black board or color of their black shirt” or you’re too black, I can’t give birth to a black child.
“I’ve gotten rejected for jobs because of my skin color and got insulted jokingly.
“Stop saying hurtful things to black women under the disguise of joke because they are colorist statements and you are a colorist,”
“Black is beautiful and I’ve learnt to love it and you will respect it.
Black is beautiful and deserves to be in all shows!”
A man, identified as Success Ikenna Umezina, has shed more light on the circumstances surrounding the issue of the pastor who allegedly cancelled the wedding of a couple who arrived late to church.
The report of the man’s death created a buzz on social media and netizens shared their two cents about the issue.
However, new details has been shared online by Success. According to him, the late pastor had been seriously ill before the wedding and was undergoing treatment in Abuja.
He alleged that due to the medical condition of the pastor, he wanted to delegate the officiation of the wedding to another pastor, but the groom insisted that he should officiate his wedding and he obliged.
On the wedding day, the pastor got to the church and waited for the couple to arrive but they were late. He placed a call through to them, but there was no response.
After waiting for a while, he retired to his office and asked the couple to be joined in his office after they arrived at the church. The bride, who was overwhelmed by the situation burst into uncontrollable tears, thus creating a scene.
A man, identified as Desency Emeka Ofiaeli, recently took to social media to celebrate after the “queen mother SOBALI” blessed him with a palatial mansion.
The traditionalist shared photos of his new home on Facebook and urged his followers to join him in appreciating the gods for fulfilling their promise to him.
Showering praises on the “queen mother”, the man wrote,
