Buhari said,
“I’m seriously disturbed by the outbreak of violence in Gombe State and call on the parties involved to exercise maximum restraint to avoid escalation.
“The easy resort to violence is uncalled for because there are enough avenues to resolve differences amicably without threatening law and order.
“In a circle of violence, there are no winners, except losers. Muslims and Christians should avoid the temptation of resorting to violence in order to express their grievances.
“Nigerians have shed enough blood over issues that could have been peacefully resolved. I appeal to the two parties to sheathe their swords for the sake of peaceful coexistence. Gombe has enjoyed relative religious harmony for decades and you shouldn’t allow hoodlums destroy this positive record.”

Islamic Cleric, Sheikh Ahmad Gumi, who has been having peace meetings with bandits in some areas in the country, has said the Fulani herdsmen who have taken to banditry are peaceful people and that they are victims of circumstance.
Sheikh Gumi gave this opinion as he spoke during an interview with Channels TV on Monday, February 22.
“When I listened to them, I found out that it is a simple case of criminality which turned into banditry, which turned into ethnic war, and some genocide too behind the scene; people don’t know.
There is no excuse for any crime; nothing can justify crime, and they are committing crime. The bandits were forced into criminality.
I think it is a population that is pushed by circumstances into criminality. And this is what we should look for, let’s remove the pressure, let’s remove the things that made them into criminals because we have lived thousands of years without any problems with the nomadic herdsmen. They are peaceful people. But something happened that led them to this.”
It is a complex issue that Nigerians need to understand. The solution is very simple, but it’s not military hardware. The solution is dialogue and teaching.
These people are acting with natural instincts, not special knowledge. And they don’t have any ambition or anything. They don’t have a vision of the future. They are talking about existence; their livelihood is destroyed; because the cattle rustling that was going on for a long time, they are the first victims of it.
“So we need to investigate how cattle rustling became a big business in Nigeria and how it affected the socio-cultural behaviour of the nomadic Fulani. They were pushed into criminality.”
Speaking further, Gumi said,
“Do you know that there are situations where any man with this Fulani physique – slim, light-complexioned, even dark ones – on a motorbike is automatically arrested and incarcerated? They are being profiled.
The Fulani herdsmen is seeing evil all around him. You can imagine when he sees his children, women, everything killed, his animals slaughtered.
You see what happened in Oyo, his hut burnt down. Who is burning down his hut? It is somebody coming from a building, somebody coming from a car. He doesn’t own a car, he doesn’t own a building, he doesn’t enjoy anything of the Nigerian cake.
Then you are coming, again, the little thing he has, to kill his animals. So he is seeing the evil from the other side. So each side is seeing the other’s side as evil.
So it is the clergy that now has to come in the middle, Muslims and Christians. We have to listen to them. Demonising anybody is not appropriate. And evil is there in everybody.”

“Anyone who knows me very well would know that I am a private person; I personally do not really like sharing or celebrating on social media some things relating to my family, like the annual remembrance ceremony of my late mother, Funmi Martins, which I duly observe every year in honour of her memory.
“When my mum, late Funmi Martins, passed away 19 years ago, my whole world was shattered, devastated, crumbled, broken and lonely without anyone’s support. How I managed to survive through the storm is only by the special grace of God.”
Damilare was living with my grandma back then in Abeokuta and I was doing all that I could to take care of him, until a few years ago when she also passed on and Damilare was taken away to live with my uncle.
“I had requested custody of Damilare several times, even before grandma died, but was denied. Damilare is my blood brother; it is not possible for me to neglect him, but there’s much more to this story than you all know which I’m sorry I will not go into details about because it’s a family matter.
“I am not a heartless person, despite the fact that I don’t have it all, the little I have, I give wholeheartedly. However, I just want to ask for a favour!! Can Damilare be finally released to me? Can I have my brother Damilare? I promise to take good care of him in my own little way; may God help me so. Thank you, everyone!! God bless every family out there!!!”

Abu Zacharia, an American Pastor who is currently in Nigeria has offered to replace Leah Sharibu who has been in Boko Haram captivity since February 2018.
Leah is one the schoolgirls who were kidnapped by the Boko Haram terrorist group from the Government Girls’ Science and Technical College, Dapchi, in 2018. While the others were released in March 2018, Leah who is Christian remained in captivity for allegedly refusing to denounce her faith.
The American pastor, Zacharia is currently in Nigeria in the company of an American-based human rights advocate, Barrister Emmanuel Ogebe.
According to him, this is his third trip to Nigeria in the last few weeks to negotiate the release of Leah, and he is making efforts to meet with Book Haram leaders so that they can take him to replace Leah.
Speaking to newsmen over the weekend, the pastor said,
“I am here in Nigeria, my third trip in four months to negotiate the release of Leah Shuaribu with Boko Haram. What am offering to them is to exchange Leah for myself and I will go into their captivity.
So that is what am planning to do, once they find out that am here, I have already had one meeting with the government official, asking his assistance to have a meeting with Boko Haram. Wherever she is, am willing to go there and exchange myself.
The basic of this is John 15:13 in the gospel “Greater love has no man than a man lays down his life for his brother and his sister. So I am here to, with the permission of my wife of 41 years and five children and nine grand-children, to see if I can negotiate her release. And they will release her and take me instead. And that is my goal.
I have been doing full-time religious freedom work and international Christian humanitarian work in the war-zones. I have been to places like Afghanistan, Iraq, Iran, Pakistan, Turkey, Jordan, Gaza, Sudan and Cuba, among others.”
Controversial Nigerian journalist, Kemi Olunloyo, has dragged disqualified BBNaija housemates, Erica and Tacha, for being wrong examples of “role models”.
According to her, contestants who were disqualified for exhibiting bad behaviour on the show, shouldn’t be taken as role models.
Dr. Kemi stated that Erica and Tacha have not achieved anything tangible, adding that their popularity and influence is not real, but make-believe.
She said the reality stars needs psychotherapy and a complete attitude rebrand because being raised by single mothers have affected their self esteem.
“Tacha and Erica: Someone disqualified from a reality show for bad behavior is NOT a role model. Brand Ambassadorships are ways to pacify their loss and not a good career move. Has Erica apologized to Laycon or Tacha to Mercy? Rebrand that attitude FIRST!
“Tacha and Erica have achieved NOTHING. Their fans don’t know this. It’s all make believe. They raised sympathy money for Erica whereas the Laycon guy won his. Same with Tacha who’s fans built her company and didn’t need to be in that show. #BBNaija is only a way to suck fans cash
“The average Tacha and Erica come from a single mother home where their moms are their best friends. Watch their language at me. Very vulgar, classless and trashy. They are clueless and need a lot of help with self esteem.
“Conclusion: Tacha and Erica fans are not useful to society. They need complete psychotherapy and are completely in a rejection mode. They really want to belong as gangsta bitches. We are not in the 90’s era. Set your own career and life goals, not stick on your #BBNaija faves.”

I must say that life has been wonderful. You get to see a lot of ups and downs, which has made me learn a lot more.

My disappearance, as you said, was to study the type of sound being made everywhere so I can fix myself in it without deviating from my real self. That’s just it.
You were being too diplomatic speaking up when a big fight broke out between Tuface and Black Face. Was that your way of not wanting to be accused of taking to any side, even when you claimed you know the whole truth about the matter?
Sorry, I don’t have any comment on that.
Does it bother you that you are not as rich as some musicians who were in the same rank with you, back in the days of Plantashun Boiz?
No, that doesn’t bother me one bit. Why should it?

Whenever I look at his picture I feel relieved from depression. I even have millions of photos of him in my gallery, please don’t think it’s a mere crush because I know my feelings for Don baby has passed CRUSHING.”
“I see him in my dreams every time, last night I saw him in my dream cooking indomie for me and his twin children (a boy and a girl I had for him in the dream). He was so happy and fulfilled in that dream, he was about to feed me then I woke up.
I have preserved my virginity till my wedding night with him. My spirit keeps telling me he is mine, and I even realize we were both born on November, in fact we both have a lot of things in common.
Don baby you are my world best, my heart desire, my laughter, my happiness and fulfillment.
