Mercy Aigbe ex-husband, Lanre Gentry, has refuted claims that Mercy and her fellow Nollywood actress, Iyabo Ojo, are at loggerheads.

There have been some consistent allegations from social media users that that the actresses who were once best friends and are now sworn enemies.

However, Lanre Gentry has seemingly squashed those allegations.

This afternoon, Gentry shared a TikTok video of Iyabo singing a song by veteran musician, Ebenezer Obey, in which he warned people to be careful of the way they behave.

A social media user then took to the comment section to insinuate that Gentry shared the video to spite Mercy as she is reportedly not friends with Iyabo.

Responding, Gentry stated that Mercy and Iyabo are friends and cannot fight.

Nigerian comedian, MC Lively has joined the long list of celebrities who has been involved in a scandal.

According to trending reports, the comedian impregnated his 21-year-old girlfriend and made her abort the baby.

The reports also alleged that MC Lively has insisted on breaking up with her after she aborted the child.

The Director-General of the National Council for Arts and Culture (NCAC), Otunba Olusegun Runsewe, has asked popular male cross-dresser, Bobrisky to leave the country if he wants to continue his way of life.

Runsewe said this while calling on parents to instill African cultures and values in their children and wards so that they will grow to be responsible adults.

According to Runsewe, 29-year0old Bobrisky has constituted a nuisance to Nigerian and African values while misleading other youths, due to a lack of true African values in him.

He said:

“Do you know that the so-called Bobrisky was going to set up the African Chapter of Gay and LGBT or whatever they call it in Nigeria during his recently aborted birthday party? People from over 70 countries arrived in Lagos for the event.

“They were all at Ikoyi, preparing to launch it. We got a hint of it and had to put a stop to the event. I seized all the food and gave them to IDPs. If they had launched that thing, Nigeria would have been destroyed by now.

“That was how the insurgency started and because it was not nipped in the bud, today we are facing the consequences of our inaction then.

“People said the man called Bobrisky is powerful and that anytime he comes to Abuja, he lodges in a presidential suite on the tenth floor of Transcorp Hilton Hotel.

“But I will not stand and see such a character perpetrate a culture that does not conform to our African values and norms.

“If he wants to continue with that way of life, then he should leave Nigeria. Our culture does not allow such personality in our society. So he should leave Nigeria.”

Kiki Osinbajo, daughter of Nigeria’s vice president, Yemi Osinbajo has fired back at a troll who said she used the country’s money to start her skincare business.

The troll identified as big elephant on Instagram, took to the comment section of her business add post on IG, to accuse her of funding her business with Nigeria’s money.

“Unna use our country money fo business. God dey ohh”, he wrote.

Reacting to this, Kiki Osinbajo fired back, saying;

“Pls I want to know something? People whose fathers are not in government how do they start skincare business? Get off my page with that crap!!!”

Duncan Mighty is not done accusing his estranged wife and her family members of making attempts to eliminate him.

Recall that a few months ago, he took to Instagram to allege that his estranged wife Vivien connived with her family members to try to inflict him with an illness through diabolical means just so they can inherit his properties.

He further alleged that he has the “confession” recorded and would release it to the public should she or her family members deny the allegations.

A Twitter user has shared his father’s funny reaction after he mistakenly sent money to his bank account.

The twitter user identified as @kintsugi revealed that he shares the exact name with his dad on their bank accounts.

And according to him, he wanted to transfer some money into his other bank account.

The twitter user made the mistake of his life, after he mistakenly sent the funds to his father’s account instead.

The man then chatted his father on Whatsapp to find out if he had received any money, only for him to confirm that he received money but said the money has entered “voicemail “.

Destiny took to social media to blast people who insinuated that her new car was bought by a man.

According to the actress, in a post and delete, said some “jobless fools” often tag women’s hard work and sucess to a man.

His comment comes barely 24 hours after Nigeria’s APEX Bank implemented a new policy that prevents financial institution from engaging in Crypto-Currency transactions.

The regulator prohibited all financial institutions from facilitating crypto currency payments in the country.

DMBs, NBFIs and OFIs to identify persons and entities transacting in, or, operating crypto currency exchanges within their systems to close such accounts immediately.

In the letter, the CBN referenced a circular it issued in January 12,2017 ref FPR/DIR/GEN/CIR/06/010 which cautioned Deposit Money Banks (DMBs), Non-Bank Financial Institutions (NBFIs)and other financial institutions (OFIs) as well as members of the public on the risk associated with transactions of crypto currency.

“Further to earlier regulatory directives on the subject, the Bank hereby wishes to remind regulated institutions that dealing in cryptocurrencies or facilitating payments for cryptocurrency is prohibited,” the statement reads.
