Police Arrest Man For Using Pistol To Threaten A Female Prostitute In Lagos

A man identified as Peter Arinola has been arrested by police operatives attached to Surulere Division of the Lagos state police command at the Empire Area in Surulere for using an English Pistol to threaten a prostitute while negotiating and harassing her for sex.

According to the police public relations officer in the state, Muyiwa Adejobi, the suspect intended to use the pistol to intimidate the lady to agree to his terms and the amount he wanted to pay, but the lady insisted on certain amount of money.

The PPRO said Peter brought out the pistol and wanted to force the lady to have sex with him.

The lady raised alarm and Peter was overpowered and arrested by the people around the brothel.

”The police swung into action and further investigation revealed that the suspect used to assist an armed robber (name withheld) to keep the pistol for operations. The police later recovered 5 rounds of ammunition in the room of the lady during the course of their investigation.

The Commissioner of Police has ordered that the owner of the pistol and suspected armed robber, who is at large, be apprehended by all means and brought to book, Adejobi said.

Nigerian Air Force personnel, Abubakar, was reportedly shot dead by suspected bandits exactly three weeks to his wedding.

It was gathered that the deceased, Abubakar, was among the NAF personnel killed during a gun duel with armed bandits at Ungwan Laya near Birnin Gwari on Saturday, February 13th.

The bereaved family who took to Facebook to mourn his death, revealed the officer was set to get married in three weeks time and had shared his prewedding photos.

Abubakar was buried in his hometown in Ungwan Dosa, Kaduna North, Kaduna State at 4:pm on Sunday, February 14th.

Recall that troops of the 271 Nigerian Air Force (NAF) foiled an ambush by a group of armed bandits at Ungwan Laya near Birnin Gwari, killing many of them.

The NAF Director of Public Relations and Information, Ibikunle Daramola, disclosed in a statement in Abuja that some NAF personnel were killed during the operation while a few others sustained varying degrees of injuries.

Members of a popular church in Makurdi, Benue State, reportedly locked their pastor out of the church and stopped him from conducting the Sunday service, yesterday, February 14th.

It was gathered that the members of the church simply identified as NKST, locked their pastor alongside his supporters out of the church.

The displeased members who were reportedly uncomfortable with the pastor’s methods and teachings asked him to vacate his seat and leave the church on Valentines day.

According to a report by The Nation, the resident pastor was accused of preaching and living some strange doctrines.

Worshippers who turned up for Sunday service were also stranded as they could not get into the church premises.

Viral photos from the scene show worshippers standing outside the locked gate, hoping to gain entrance.

Nicki Minaj’s father, Robert Maraj, has reportedly died after being involved in a hit-and-run accident.

According to a TMZ report, Nicki’s father was hit by a vehicle while he was walking on the road in Mineola on Long Island, on Friday evening, February 12.

The Nassau County Police in New York stated that the driver then fled the scene without a meaningful description from witnesses. Following the accident, Robert was taken to an area hospital in critical condition, where he succumbed to his injuries and passed on Saturday, February 13.

A Nigerian couple have become social media talk on the web after revealing how they celebrated their Valentine’s Day.

While other couples were going on fancy dates, having indoor romantic moments and buying each other gifts, the viral couple known as Mr and Mrs Zanga went to till their farmland on February 14.

Mrs Zanga took to Twitter on Sunday to make the revelation as she shared photos of herself and her husband at work on the farm.

She shared the photos and a video with the caption;

”How our Valentine’s day is going”

A video that was shared on the internet recently captures the moment three ladies were exchanging blows with each other inside what is said to be a hotel.

Reports surrounding the video have it that all three ladies were dating the same man who happened to be in a hotel room with one of them.

In an undisclosed how, the other two ladies got information of what was happening and stormed the hotel, with one coming in company of a friend.

And as soon as they amalgamated, words wouldn’t do justice to the emotions they needed to pour out and so, fisticuffs spoke for them.

In the video, two of the ladies are seen seriously exchanging blows as the man in question, came out of the room. The encounter got quite messy that one of the ladies was stripped during the fight.

A young Nigerian lady has taken to her Twitter page to share the love letter a teenager in her church wrote to her.

In the love letter the Twitter user with handle, @omo_ologo1 shared, the teenager asked her to become his lover as he also told her that he doesn’t know how to “tell her face to face”.

According to the lady, the teenager gave her the letter whilst they were in church and even added his phone number.

The letter reads,

“Morning dear my love for you is a good one love you at the bottom of my heart am in love with you i don’t no how you will feel, i dont no how to tell you face to face i want you to be my lover bird any time you need my help.”
