Popular Cameroonian cross dresser, two others sentenced to prison for practicing homosexuality (video)

Cameroonian cross dresser, popularly known as Shakiro and two homosexuals have been sentenced to prison for practicing homosexuality.

According to reports the court of first instance in Ndokotti Douala on Tuesday, February 9th, found them guilty for practicing homosexuality which is a crime in Cameroon.

Cameroon News Agency reported that the suspected homosexuals were sent to the New Bell Central Prison in Douala, adding that that Shakiro had been arrested several times and released.

In other news, the Director-General of the National Council for Arts and Culture (NCAC), Otunba Olusegun Runsewe, has asked popular male cross-dresser, Bobrisky to leave the country if he wants to continue his way of life.

Runsewe said this while calling on parents to instill African cultures and values in their children and wards so that they will grow to be responsible adults.

According to Runsewe, 29-year0old Bobrisky has constituted a nuisance to Nigerian and African values while misleading other youths, due to a lack of true African values in him.

An unemployed young Nigerian lady, Ebhodagbe Victoria has hit the street of Abuja with a placard on her neck in search of a job.

Victoria who is a graduate of a graduate of International Relations and is in dire need of a job was spotted at CAC maitama Abuja with a placard which read, “I need a job, BSc int’l relations, [email protected]”.

A man took a photo of the lady with her permission, and shared on social media as he calls for help for her.

Sharing the photo of the lady, he wrote,

“I saw this young lady at CAC maitama Abuja looking for work with placard on her neck that reads. I need a job, BSc int’l relations, [email protected].

I take permission from her to take a pic and make a small video recording she agreed

Popular Nigerian actress, Lilian Esoro, is celebrating her successful divorce from her ex husband, Ubi Franklin.

The actress took herself on a vacation.

Recall that the two finalized their divorce recently after many months of trying.

The marriage between the actress and the music executive, which held in 2015 was officially dissolved on Thursday January 28th, at an Abuja High Court.

Lilian first filed for divorce in a Lagos High Court but it was denied, Ubi Franklin later filed in Abuja and the divorce has now been granted.

The two had been separated following allegations of cheating.

The management of Delta State Polytechnic Ogwashi-Uku has allegedly banned her students from driving cars within the school premises.

An alleged student of the institution took to Twitter to share a photo of a banner supposedly by the school administration, banning cars owned by students from entering campus.

According to the banner, students are prohibited from entering the school with their cars for security reasons.

Court remands Singer Lil Frosh in Ikoyi Prison till March 2021

Nigerian singer, Lil Frosh has been remanded at the Ikoyi Correctional Centre till March 9, 2021, over the alleged assault on his ex-girlfriend Gift Camille.

Recall that the former DMW signee was called out by Camille’s manager after he assaulted her to the extent that she was left with bruises and a swollen face.

According to the manager with twitter handle @MayoksMichael, Lil Frosh has been physically abusing his sister for about a year and has brought nothing but pain, horror and disaster to her.

He stated that the artiste would lock her up in a room, beat her to pulp then pour water on her. Further adding that he would sometimes record a video of her naked and threaten to post it online

Gift in a post shared on her Instagram page also alleged that she had been in a relationship with the musician since January 2020 and that anytime they had a disagreement, he would violently attack her, leaving her with serious bodily injuries.

However, a suit against Lil Frosh was filed before the Lagos state Magistrate court in Yaba with the help of the International Association Of Women Lawyers, Lagos State branch.

At the hearing on Tuesday, February 9th, the presiding judge, Magistrate Adeola Olatunbosun, adjourned the case till March 9th, 2021 and ordered that the singer be remanded at the Ikoyi Correctional Center.

Yoruba rights activist, Sunday Igboho, on Tuesday, accused the Federal Government of freezing his bank accounts, following his attack on the killer-herdsmen in Oyo State.

Speaking with Vanguard, Igboho confirmed that all his accounts have been frozen by the Federal Government because some people were collecting donations with his name.

However, the freedom fighter said he had no hands in the said donations, warning that his accounts must be unfrozen to avoid mass protest by youths across the South-West region.

Nollywood actress, Didi Ekanem has recounted how she miraculously survived a fatal car accident exactly a year ago, January 2020.

The actress who took to her verified Instagram page to share photos from the accident revealed she’s yet to get over the trauma even after one year.

Didi also disclosed that there was casualty as the victim while trying to run, ran in front of the car and was hit to the pole.

Recounting the traumatic incident, she wrote,

“This time last year, the devil tried it. I woke up on the morning of that day feeling very uneasy. As I was about to step out of the house, something told me to pray… then I started praying aggressively for one hour after which I got into my car and left.

“So on my way to the market, my brake failed completely and there was traffic on the road, and right in front of me was a school bus filled with children. I started screaming and suddenly , my car diverted and then hit the bridge pole like 3 times .

“For a second, I thought I will come out with either a broken head, smashed face, unconscious or even dead but Mercy said no, and brought me out of the car unhurt.

“Yes there was casualty as the victim while trying to run unfortunately ran in front of the car and was hit to the pole . I was so scared that he’ll die but again, Mercy said no… and took that burden away from me . Sadly he was in the hospital for a few days.

“Till now, I haven’t gone to the police station to retrieve my car cos of the trauma. Every time I pass that road to the market, the fear that grips me. But in all, I give God all the glory. The story could have been worse but the mercy of God prevailed mightily. If that man had died, I probably would have been in jail by now… and even after I come out would have lived with guilt for the rest of my life. Thank You Lord for loving me the way you do…. 🙏🙏🙏”. She wrote.

Popular Nigerian rapper, Azeez Fashola, otherwise known as Naira Marley has taken to social media to drop a rather controversial opinion on ‘kissing’.

According to the ‘Jo Soapy’ crooner, he is a good kisser but he pretends like he does not like kissing because of a very weird reason.

He wrote on Twitter ;

I’m a good kisser but I pretend I don’t like kissing because u’re not meant to kiss everybody u sleep with.

Zeb Ejiro Announces Chico Ejiro’s Burial Arrangements

Veteran movie director, Zeb Ejiro has announced the burial arrangements for his brother, Chico Ejiro, who died on Christmas Day last year.

Ejiro revealed this to News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Monday.

He said Chico will be laid to rest on February 20.

Ejiro also said that the burial programme, designed in line with COVID-19 protocols, would start with a service of songs on February 16.

The service of songs tagged ‘Industry Evening of Tribute’ would be aired via zoom.

Chico will be buried at the Ejiro’s compound, Ozoro, Isoko North LGA of Delta.

“The obsequies, which is the service of songs for Chico my late brother, will be a private family event which would also be on zoom. The arrangements are basically to bring the COVID-19 protocols to bear.

“We considered that throwing it open will pull crowd as people will want to be physically present, so we are taking advantage of the zoom for people to key-in,” he said.

Chico died in the early hours of Christmas Day December 25, 2020 from suspected cardiac arrest.

Nicknamed Mr Prolific by journalist Azuh Arinze, Chico was mourned by so many Nollywood actors.

They include Richard Mofe-Damijo, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde, Regina Askia, Yul Edochie, Ik Ogbonna and Femi Jacobs.

Chico married his wife Joy Ejiro in 1998. They have four children together.

NDLEA intercepts 40 parcels of cocaine worth N32 billion in Lagos (photos)

Two suspected drug-traffickers met their waterloo as they were intercepted by operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency NDLEA with 40 parcels of Cocaine weighing 43.11kilogram (100.05pds), estimated at more than N32 billion.

According to the NDLEA, the seizure was made at the Tincan command on Monday, February 8.

The anti-drug agency said the consignment containing the illicit drug was put under surveillance by operatives of the Tincan Command for some days until two clearing agents showed up on Monday, February 8, 2021 to clear them.

The suspected traffickers were immediately arrested while the banned substances were confiscated.

Popular Nigerian rapper, Erhiga Agarivbie, better known by his stage name Erigga, has averred that a large percentage of Nigerian men will go into prostitution if given the chance.

The newly-married artiste took to his verified Twitter account to share his opinion, whilst advising people to stop stigmatizing prostitutes.

Giving the percentage of men, Erigga said 75 percent of Nigerian men will willingly be prostitutes if the situation permits them.
