7 year old boy left with memory loss after falling ill with Covid-19

A seven-year-old boy identified as Logan Walsh is currently suffering from memory loss, after falling ill with Covid-19.

Logan is said to have recovered from coronavirus but is now struggling with a particularly strange side effect, which led to his loss of memory.

A specialist at Leeds General Infirmary, where Logan was treated, spotted the signs of PIMS-TS, or paediatric multi-system inflammatory syndrome.

The condition can cause organ failure, insufficient blood flow, as well as other severe medical issues, meaning children need to be admitted to ICU.

Logan had to undergo steroid treatment and later developed a heart murmur that led to him being transferred to the Intensive Care ward.

Logan’s body began to swell as it attempted to heal itself and his blood became dangerously thin.

According to a report by Yorkshire live, the 7-year old now frequently forgets little things that his mum has to remind him of.

Logan’s mum, Jessica Walsh stated that,

“Now with his memory, he forgets some things which can be frustrating for him.

“He has no memory of the nine worst days when he was poorly, which we decided is probably a good thing. There was one particular day when I really thought we might lose him.

“But his memory in general is not brilliant as he remembered Christmas morning for a few days but has no recollection of it now”.

However, she added that Logan is doing really well, and is getting back to normal.

“I don’t understand why it bothers people that my sons still live with their dad” — Kiddwaya’s mom

Some days back, Nigerian billionaire kid, Terseer Waya, “Kiddwaya“, came under fire by netizens for being a showoff which some say is because he’s childish in nature.

Kidd, who is on vacation in Dubai, had earlier taken time out to record himself taking a bath in his luxury apartment and shared it on social media — while some followers dropped positive comments, others lambasted him with the opinion that it was an unnecessary clip to share.

Kidd’s action caused for a number of netizens to lambaste him and call him “childish”, as he’s one who’s still pampered by his rich dad at his age — some outed him for still living with his dad.

The former Big Brother Naija star was however unperturbed by the comments as he even went on to share a photo of himself chilling in a bathtub in a bid to “pepper his haters” more.

His mother, Susan Waya has now commented on the criticism her sons have been facing lately because they still live with their dad. On her Instagram page, she wrote,

I don’t get it why it bothers a lot of ppl that my boys live with dad in their own home, go on holidays with him & enjoy every opportunity given to spend quality time together. SO when is it the right time to move out from their home? Or is their dad complaining? Haba!!

Teacher fakes her own kidnap in Kwara to extort N250, 000 from her father

The police in Kwara state have arrested a 24-year-old teacher, Medinat Ibrahim, for allegedly faking her own kidnap just to extort N250, 000 from her father.

Medinat, who was paraded alongside two other suspects identified as Amudalat Wahab (30) and Hammed Lekan (28) said she committed the crime to raise money to settle a debt which accrued from the monthly contribution at the private school where she serves as a teacher.

She alleged she was maltreated by her stepmother who also caused friction between her and her father, adding that she decided to fake her own kidnap to get money to offset debts she incurred during COVID-19 lockdown.

I teach in a private school where I was paid N15,000. We organised monthly contribution which I collected and invested in a business, but when COVID-19 broke out, our salary was stopped, I could no longer continue with the contribution.

“Those who were in the group continued to mount pressure on me to pay up my own contribution and there is nowhere that I could get the money. So I decided to go and hide in my sister’s place and I told someone to call my father on phone that I was kidnapped and demanded a ransom of N250,000 which was paid to my friend’s account.” she said

Parading her before newsmen, the state Commissioner of Police, Muhammed Bagega, said Medinat conspired with her elder sister, Amudalat Wahab, and one Hammed Lekan to arrange her kindap and they have both been arrested as well.

The CP said a bank account, belonging to one Hammed Lekan, was used to cash the N250,000.

“You’re Evil” – Graphic Designer Drags BBNaija’s Lilo Over Unpaid Services

Lilo drags

A disgruntled graphic designer has called out reality show star, Lilo Aderogba, for refusing to pay for his professional services to her brand.

Lilo drags

The graphics designer, simply identified as Enitan, revealed that the former BBNaija housemate engaged his creative design skills, but offered to tag him on social media instead of paying for his services.

Lilo drags

It all started when the 23-year-old dietician showed off her generous side on social media by offering to pay for a fan’s outfit as her New Year present.

See the post below,

lilo drags

Enitan spotted her generous offer and lambasted her for showing “online kindness” while still owing him for his services.

The enraged man took to his Twitter page to narrate how their business relationship began and shared photos of some of his projects, which Lilo failed to pay for.

Lilo drags

In a lengthy Twitter thread, he wrote,

“But you couldn’t pay for the Jobs I did for you. Celebrities and this public showcasing of being nice. You and your brand are evil!

I know this might not even blow up cos I have very little followers but I will just call on few sensible people I’ve noticed on here @SMiTHiE___ @Shawnifee @SavvyRinu. Your retweets would go a long way into creating awareness of hoe some of these so called celebrities are evil.

August last year, I messaged Lilo on Twitter here trying to secure a graphic designer Job on her team cos I really saw she lacked that and needed one. Fastfoward, she replied and told me to send my portfolio to her mail which I did.
I knew she was going to be really busy…

Cos it was just like few weeks after she left the house. She responded after a week or so and I started talking to someone on her team and she told me they’d just want to try me cos they have so many other people trying to secure that position on the team so they gave me a test..

They told me to make a design of a brand she’s working on launching which I did and Lilo really liked it and approved it.
I was really excited as I’m just a student and just trying to make money for myself, I put into so much effort designing just trying to secure a spot….

A whole design ffs, I Just had about 2hrs or more. Lol I quickly ran down to buy fuel and started designing. I submitted it some minutes past 12am cos she reviewed it and there changes to be done. Sent it to her, didn’t get any feedback, just went on her Instagram page and saw it.

That was what I cared about as I didn’t talk about getting paid yet.
She came on again, she wanted to launch Adire t-shirts, I made designs for them and sent them, her PA said she approved them and she posted them.
After I finished the Adire project which she named ADR by LILO…

Want to be tagging me on Instagram that Lilo has been asking for my IG handle so they’d b tagging my handles every if the design. I told them as much as I wanted to reach greater audience, I’ve spent money and even put in alot of effort in these projects and I need to get paid..

They stopped replying all of my messages after constant using my designs and didn’t pay me a dime!
Mehn I felt really bad, I was down, I had to stay awake all night to get the list of the winners to make the design. Nights upon nights, my efforts, my money spent all for IG tags?!

Cos I’m an up and coming brand, doesn’t mean you should use my hardwork and don’t pay for it. I really hope my vouve you is heard and I get justice fr.
Some of these celebrities do these to up and coming brands and it’s really evil. Y’all that do this should fix up!

You using my designs to get to your audience to seek your clothes and you using my designs on your fanpage runned by your PA.
I have no intention to bring down your brand but I felt miserable cos I couldn’t get justice for Months! Other proofs I couldn’t get too.”

Hollywood star, The Rock gifts N12 million truck to friend who helped him when he was homeless (Video)

Hollywood star, Dwayne Johnson better known as The Rock has gifted a $30,000 (N12m) truck to a lifelong friend.

Recounting how his friend, Bruno Lauer helped him as a teenager, he revealed he bought him his first car and took him in when he was homeless.

According to him Lauer took him (Dwayne) and his mom in, when they became homeless after they were evicted from their home in Hawaii. Again nine years later, when Dwayne fell on hard times while trying to make it as a wrestler.

The Fast & Furious star, in appreciation has now surprised Lauer with a Ford F150 and promised he’s ‘got him covered’ when he chooses to retire.

Sharing videos from the emotional moment on his Instagram page Dwayne wrote,

Merry Christmas, Bruno 🎅🏾 Love you, brother! 100% crackhead free 👹😊

My life (especially my teenage years) has been full of the wildest twists and turns – yet God and the universe had always found a way to put a few people in my path that would change the trajectory of the road I was going down.

Meet one of my lifelong friends, Bruno Lauer — or I prefer to call him, “Downtown Bruno” 😉 🤟🏾

My mom and I were evicted off the island of Hawaii and I was sent to Nashville, Tennessee to live with my dad.

When I landed in Nashville, I quickly found out I wasn’t gonna live with my dad. Shit happens, plans change and that’s the way it goes.

Instead, I told I was gonna live with a guy named Bruno. Who at the time lived in a tiny room at a spot called the Alamo Plaza motel.

Bruno could’ve (and should’ve) said hell no, I’m not takin’ in some kid who I don’t know. But he didn’t. He took this punk kid in and we became lifelong friends.

Then ironically – about 9 years later when I had the infamous “$7 Bucks” in my pocket – I started my wrestling career in Memphis, Tennessee and AGAIN – had no place to live and Bruno took me and let me shake up in his trailer, till I could get on my feet.

And hell, when I was 15yrs old, Bruno even gave me his last $40 bucks so I could hustle a crackhead out of his car one night at a honky tonk in Nashville 😈🤦🏾‍♂️

But the hustle was on me, because when I took off down the road there was a SECOND CRACKHEAD passed out on the floor in the back! 👹 Wild times at 15yrs old.

Merry Christmas, Bruno and since you helped me “buy” my first car – I figured I could return the favor and buy you one that 100% does NOT have a crackhead in the back seat.

I love you, brother. Your kindness and heart – helped change my life’s trajectory. And when you’re ready to retire from “the business” you just say the word. I got you covered. We’ll go “downtown” 🤟🏾
Enjoy your new ride and give Walls, Mississippi my love and gratitude 🖤

If not that Covid-19 kills the rich too, celebrities won’t bother – Seun Kuti

Popular Nigerian afrobeat singer, Seun Kuti has said celebrities are saying Covid-19 is real because unlike hunger, it does not kill only the poor, but the rich too.

He made this comment on the reignited awareness about Coronavirus which has gained grounds following the second wave of the disease.

Recall that Nigerian comedian, Alibaba and Paul Okoye recently recovered from covid-19 and have taken to social media to warn their followers over the reality of the virus.

Kuti who praised “faves” of some Nigerians over their zeal in telling their followers about the virus, wondered why they are not channeling same passion to talk about hunger.

He however wondered if these faves are talking about Coronavirus being real just because it can kill them too while hunger kills only the poor man.
