Popular Nigerian actress, Uche Ogbodo has taken to social media to drag her colleague, Inem Peter to filth after she opined that “women are happier without men”.

Talented actress, Inem Peter had earlier taken to Instagram to state that men are women’s major problem. According to her, a woman will be happier, without a man in her life.

In her words,

The actress opinion, caused a stir on social media as many fans and followers took to her comment to blast her, while some agreed to her school of thought.

Meanwhile, Inem’s colleague Uche found the assertion offensive and slammed her for making such statement.

In reaction to the claims that women are happier without men, Uche wrote, “from the mouth of a full blown lesbian”.

Popular Nigerian singer, Davido has revealed opened up on what motivated him to join the EndSARS protest, against police brutality.

According to the father of three, he was motivated to join the protest after seeing women actively involved in the fight for a better Nigeria.

Davido disclosed this whilst speaking to DJ Cuppy in an interview on Apple Radio’s Africa Now.

In his words,

“I got my courage from all the other youths that went out there before me. They had been protesting for days before I even went there. I would say those people gave me a lot of courage especially the females, the women that were there protesting.

“When I first got there they were attacking me and people were even angry at me that why am I just coming? Where have I been? I could see the pain on the faces of Nigerians. Especially with the background that I am from, I felt it would be very insensitive for me not to lend my voice. A rather tragic incident occurred in the Inikpi community of Benue state as a married man reportedly set himself and his side chic ablaze in the area.

The incident is reported to have occurred around 6:30pm on Saturday November 14 with the reason yet to be uncovered as at the time of filing this report.

While the man died almost immediately, the lady who was burnt beyond recognition was rushed to the hospital by FRSC officials.

Police officer narrates how his friend got carried away by love and got scammed by his girlfriend

A Nigerian police officer has given the narrative of how a friend of his who lost his job due to the COVID-19 pandemic, got carried away by love and got scammed by his girlfriend.

According to the officer, with Twitter handle, @Edward_Onoriode, his friend’s elder brother sent him 10 iPhone 11 Pro Max which he was asked to sell and start up a business with.

He shared that his friend’s girlfriend who insisted on taking one of the phones, also went on to scam him of the money he was supposed to invest in a business.

He tweeted,

A friend lost his job due to covid-19 pandemic. His elder brother that’s based in the UK sent him 10 iphone 11 Pro Max so he can sell & use the proceed to start a business to take care of himself. When the shipments landed, the lady handling the shipment was acting funny.

He called me to assist him get the package, I did & within few days, I collected the package. The very day I handed over the package to him at his house, I met his girlfriend with him. As we opened the package together, she collected 1 Gold iPhone 11 Pro Max Immediately.

I know the cost of the phone, the purpose of the phone & financial condition of my friend so, I told her to return the phone bcoz it has a purpose. I also told her that when things fall in place for my phone, she will use a much better phone than iPhone 11 Pro Max.

She hesitated and insisted she must use an iPhone 11 Pro Max. Funny thing is, this girl is using a Samsung S9 while my friend is using an Infinix Phone. The person that owns the phones isn’t carried away to use an iPhone but you the girlfriend is insisting on using one.

My friend was carried away by love so, he couldn’t say a word. I was the one fighting the battle as if I’m the owner of the phones. There was no name this girl didn’t call me in the presence of my friend. My friend did nothing but just look.

I gave up and she took the phone. I and my friend went to computer village to meet the man which we’ve told about the phones before it arrival. He inspected all phones and made payment as agreed immediately. Over N2.7m for the nine iPhones sold was paid to my friend account.

I don’t know if my friend was jazzed, stupid or carried away when the money hits his account. All I know is that he didn’t invest any of the money into any business. Weekly, he upload pics and video of him and his girlfriend at expensive restaurants, clubs and fast food.

Each time I caution him, he will tell me not to worry that he’s working on something. He claimed he had kept N2m for the business he want to invest in. This is a guy that’s owning me 150k which I loaned him during the pandemic. I forced him to pay me ASAP before story enter.

After he paid me my money, he stopped taking my calls and I also stopped calling. After over three months, he called me yesterday crying that his girlfriend had ruined his life. He said all the money had gone.

The business he wanted to invest in which was suggested by his…Was a scam and the girlfriend had run away. He’s begging I should assist him with my connection get Police officers to trace his girlfriend and the guy that scammed him get his money back. I hissed and cut the call. I hate stupid people.

This is common by most young guys, they allow little money and their girlfriend to control them. As a man, always make sure you’re not carried away with girls or money. If you’re in love, love with your head and stop being STUPID.

Let me add this; I didn’t get to listen to him fully when he called yesterday bcoz I was pissed & irritated. I don’t know the details of the business he’s talking abt if his GF was involved with the guy that scammed him When I’m calm, I’d visit him, get full details & assist him

Popular Nigerian singer, Tiwa Savage has explained why she would love to have another child either through surrogacy or adoption.

In the final part of her interview with Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, host of the BBNaija show, the 40-year-old mother of one said she is open to both options due to fears for stretch marks or cesarean section (CS).

“Oh, God! I don’t know. If it’s God’s will, we’ll get a surrogate ‘cause I don’t want any more stretch marks or CS. It’s something I’m open to. I also want to adopt. I’m really open to that,” she said.

“If I don’t have enough of my own, I definitely would want to adopt. I don’t know how soon. I haven’t really thought of it. It has always been a dream to open my home to someone — a baby or child — who doesn’t have a home.

“I actually want a daughter. When I was pregnant with Jamil, I prayed it would be a daughter. I did my first scan in Nigeria and was told he’s a boy. I was crying and was like, ‘No I’m going to Landon ‘cause these people don’t know’.

“Everyone was saying I wasn’t carrying a load and that it was probably a girl. I went to London and they were like, ‘Nope, we see it right there. It’s a boy’. But now, I can’t change him for the world. I love him.”

Tiwa Savage also spoke of her concern on raising Jamil as a single mother and female artiste. She said her son often wonders why strangers he never met before know him.

“It’s tough just because of my legacy, what I’m going to leave behind, building a future for him, trust funds, buying properties and transferring them to him, life insurance, health insurance. I’m doing all of that stuff,” Tiwa added.

“I’m like, ‘the world is so cruel right now’. He’s going to be a young man. What pressure is he going to face because he’s Tiwa Savage’s son? What kind of extra pressure is it going to be for him to be successful?

“I don’t want him to be a spoilt child feeling like he’ll always have his way just because he’s my son. Those are some of the worries that I sometimes have. I try to make it as normal as possible.

A Nigerian Twitter user, Gbaja Adeoluwa has shared with worst date experience with lady who came to the movie date with her fiance.

According to the man, his date he was supposed to meet, came with he fiance, introduced himself and handed her to him.

He wrote;

“MY WORST DATE EVER: In 2013 I had been disturbing this fine babe to go on a date with me for over 1 year, she finally agreed & I was super excited.

On the D-day I wore my Christmas clothe to ICM cus it was a movie date, only for me to get the shocker of my life..

Her fiance came to drop her, this man came down from his car, shook my hand, introduced himself & handed his babe over to me, told me to keep her safe, gave us 10k for the date & called every hour to check on her.

Through out that day I was just dey do “hnmmmm” 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

The actress who is regularly being trolled on Instagram for being a regular commentator on Tunde Ednut’s page, took to her page to issue the stren warning to people bombarding her DM with photos of their manhood.

She wrote:

Nigerian media personality and TV host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu is celebrating his dearest father, Chief Ezeagada Okija, who turned 79.

Iphie, sister to the the BBNaija reality show host, took to Instagram to celebrate their father as she shared beautiful photos from the family birthday gathering.

In the pictures Iphie uploaded, the happy Septuagenarian can be seen cutting his cake with a huge smile on his face.

She captioned the photos with words of praises for her dear daddy.
