A Nigerian lady identified as Yemi, has taken to social media to celebrate two months of being free from self-harm.
According to Yemi she battled with self-harm in 2020 and at different times tried to stop but usually went back to inflicting pain on herself.
Yemi further revealed that before now the highest she has been able to stay away from self-harm was two weeks.
Yemi who noted that 2020 messed with her mental health, stated that it feels good to finally have control of her mind which is her greatest win in 2020.

A lecturer at the University of Osun, Dr Olabanji Surakat, who is a husband to one of the sisters, took to his social media page to share the unique story and it has garnered over one thousand retweets.
According to the Doctor, the husbands cannot figure how their wives got pregnant at the same time but they however appreciated God for his blessings.

An Ondo businessman, Babatunde Olubasa was allegedly killed in an hotel on boxing day over cigarette lighter.
It was learnt that 38-year-old Babatunde was allegedly murdered during an argument over cigarette lighter, in a popular hotel in Akure where he had lodged for the Christmas holiday.
According to a report by The PUNCH, the Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Mr Tee-Leo Ikoro, who confirmed that the matter was a case of assassination, said the Commissioner of Police, Mr Bolaji Salami, had ordered investigation into the incident.
In his words,
“We have commenced investigation and trying to track down those who killed him. It’s an assassination. At the time it happened, there was nobody else at the bar, except the bar girl. The bar girl said three killers came into the hotel.
“The deceased lodged in that hotel and went out at some point in time. By the time he came back, the assailants were already at the bar drinking. When he got to the bar, the three guys asked for a lighter from him to light their cigarettes and he said no. It was at that point that they pulled out their guns and shot him. The assailants left the hotel when he gave up the ghost.
“We are on their trail right now. The Commissioner of Police has ordered a full investigation into the incident. To us, we are thinking it was an assassination. But the investigation will unravel all that happened.”
An eye witness stated that the deceased was shot dead at the bar during an argument with the killers over a cigarette lighter, The Punch reports.
A lady almost died after allegedly being poisoned by her wedding planner who was interested in the groom-to-be.
A concerned friend of the victim, identified as Shantel, took to Twitter to share the story on Tuesday, December 29.
According to Shantel, the wedding was supposed to hold on that same day before the devastating incident occurred. She alleged that the bride-to-be was poisoned by her wedding planner because she had eyes on her fiancée.
From her statement, the incident occurred days or weeks before the wedding was scheduled to hold. Fortunately, her friend didn’t lost her life after ingesting the poison.
Hours after sharing the news, Shantel, gave an update on her friend’s health condition by confirming that she is not dead but has been hospitalized.

”Today was meant to be my girls big day. She got poisoned by her wedding planner who had her eyes on my girls man.

The Kaduna State Police Command arrested organisers of the maiden edition of a “Kaduna sex party” which was slated to hold in the northern state.
The party which was widely promoted on social media, was slated to hold on December 27th, 2020 in an undisclosed location in the state.
According to the invite which went viral, the party guests are expected to be naked as clothes would not be allowed at the venue.
However, the party which was scheduled to hold last Sunday was called off, as organisers of the party were arrested before the D-day.
Media aide to the Kaduna State governor, Abdallah Yunus Abdallah confirmed the arrest and revealed that the phone number used for the publicity was what was used in tracking the organisers.

A popular hairstylist, Adams Amakel Eguvwese, has been shot dead in broad daylight by an unknown gunman in Sapele, Delta State.
The 42-year-old, popularly known as ’10 over 10′ (the name of his barbing salon), was reportedly sitting outside his shop along New Road at about 5:45pm on Tuesday, December 29, when the gunman shot him.
An eyewitness, who simply identified himself as Nathaniel, told Vanguard that the gunman came in a blue Toyota Corolla car without a plate number.
“Adams was sitting outside his barbing saloon when the numberless blue Corolla came, a man holding a shotgun approached him and shot him. Adams ran into the shop and the gunman went after him and shot him again at the entrance of his shop, before he got into the Corolla and drove away.” the witness said.
According to reports, the now-deceased was rushed to Sapele Central hospital but was referred to the Delta State University Teaching Hospital in Oghara.
However, he was brought back to his barbing salon as there was no fuel in the vehicle, where he unfortunately gave up the ghost.
“Those who rescued him came back that there was no fuel in their vehicle and the crowd who had gathered at the scene of the incident had to raise cash for him and because Adams had lost so much blood in the process, he could not make it.” the source said.

Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie has taken a swipe at Nigerian youths for tweeting about Davido and Burna Boy fighting in Ghana instead of fighting against child molestation in Nigeria.
In a tweet shared on his handle earlier this morning, the actor wrote;
This is the time to tackle the menacing issue of child molestation in our country.

A woman on Twitter identified as Oduonyi has celebrated a great achievement she had in the past two years.
Although it might be an unusual feat for some, Oduonyi has marked the 2nd anniversary of the day she decided to stop watching pornographic content or sexually gratifying herself.
She took to her twitter page to thank God for helping her stay strong during the time and she acknowledged that she has indeed grown in the spirit.

Big Brother Naija ‘lockdown’ star, Dorathy, recently visited the family home of her close friend, Prince.
The highly-publicized visitation further fueled the rumor that she is in a romantic relationship with Prince.
In a video making the rounds on social media, Dorathy and Prince were seen Prince could be seen introducing Dorathy to his father, a royal king and she looked elated to be warmly welcomed by her friends parents.
Investigative journalist, Kemi Olunloyo has alleged that some unknown persons are plotting to kill popular Nigerian singer, Davido.
In series of tweets the controversial journalist warned the music executive to stay indoor, noting that the music industry is wicked.
Speaking further, Kemi revealed that the only person who can say what really transpired at Twist Club in Ghana is already dead.
Kemi’s tweet reads,
“Someone is trying to KILL DAVIDO. The only person that can tell us what happened at Twist is already dead. David said he’s not afraid of heaven. Reminds me of Biggie’s album “Ready to Die”.

Meanwhile, the father of three had earlier taken to his Instagram page to note that he’s not afraid of heaven.
In his words, “I no dey fear heaven just know, I get mansion for there”.
In another post the music star shared a verse of the bible. Quoting the verse of the scripture he wrote,
“May the LORD answer you (David) in the day of trouble! May the name of the God of Jacob set you securely on high and defend you in battle!
“May he send you help from the sanctuary (his dwelling place) and support and strengthen you from Zion!
“May he remember all your meal offerings and accept your burnt offering. Selah.
