Blessing Nwachukwu-Frank, a Facebook user launches a search for a rapist who had sexually assaulted her three-year-old younger sister thirty years ago.

The Nigerian cum American citizen shares the heart-wrenching story of how a man, called Daniel Ekanem from Akwa Ibom state, in his early twenties, forcefully slept with her toddler sister which later resulted in her death days later.

According to Blessing, the pedophile had bribed their housemaid with money and took to his heels when his deed became exposed. This experience shattered the peace and joy in her family.

She now made an appeal to the public and the power of the social media in bringing this man to justice, which can only be delayed but not denied.

Online outrage has trailed a certain job posting made by a Facebook user, Jesuit Miracle Chinwendu, offering to pay thirty thousand naira for a live-in maid.

Among those who found the pay offensive is a Facebook influencer by the name of Brian Jonah Dennis who gave a counter-post saying, “If I’m working as a maid in your house in this economy and you pay me N30k per month, I will sleep with your husband”

This has ignited further speculations on the reason maids sleep with their male bosses, or if that is the solution to being paid a meagre salary. Read some of the comments curated:

House of Reps proposes 10-year j@il sentence for Nigerians who refuse to recite the new national anthem

Nigeria’s House of Representatives has proposed a new legislation, the Counter Subversion Bill 2024, which seeks to enforce severe penalties on citizens who fail to recite the national anthem.

The bill stipulates that individuals found guilty of refusing to recite the anthem will face a fine of ₦5 million, a 10-year jail term, or both penalties.

Additionally, the proposed law imposes the same punishment on those who vandalize national symbols or places of worship, aiming to curb acts of subversion and promote national unity.

The Counter Subversion Bill 2024, sponsored by Speaker Tajudeen Abbas, is scheduled for its second reading, where the general principles will be debated.

Part of the bill proposes severe penalties for various offenses, including setting up illegal roadblocks, performing unauthorized traffic duties, imposing illegal curfews, or organizing unlawful processions which would incur a ₦2 million fine, five years in prison, or both.

Also forcefully taking over public or private places attracts a ₦5 million fine, a 10-year prison sentence, or both. Finally, professing loyalty to an organization that disregards Nigeria’s sovereignty incurs a ₦3 million fine, four years in prison, or both.

This bill comes after President Bola Tinubu signed a law in May reintroducing Nigeria’s old national anthem, “Nigeria, We Hail Thee,” which was dropped in 1978. Some citizens, including Oby Ezekwesili and Aisha Yesufu, have refused to acknowledge the new anthem, sparking debate.

Nigerian man expresses shock after discovering a live maggot moonwalking in the food he ordered from a restaurant online.

The man @vintagexsavage shared a video of the soft-bodied legless larva moonwalking inside the plate of food, similar to porridge beans. The video recorded the visibility of the maggot moving across the lid of the plate.

The man noted that even though it was discovered on the lid and not inside the food, he had to call the restaurant for a refund.

Social media users were left dumbfounded after a hairstylist showed the heap of dandruff flakes on her client’s scalp while taking out a four-month sew-in weave.

Sharing on TikTok, the hairstylist @nycolpatrice noted that her client had her traditional sew-in weave installed four months ago and she being a hairstylist prefers to take out her client’s installs.

In the viral clip, the hairstylist removed the weave attached to her client’s hair before the hair net. It was difficult to lose the braid underneath the weave due to the long period.

According to the lady, she had to pull the hair apart and scratch the dandruff from the woman’s scalp before separating the hair gently to take off the gathered dandruff flakes.

The hairstylist also added that detangling and taking out the dirt was quite difficult because of the heap of dry dandruff on the scalp.

The video has generated differing reactions online with many suggesting the woman has Seborrheic dermatitis or psoriasis; a skin condition that causes scaly patches and red skin, mainly on the scalp.

While some claim that the weave-in is more than 4 months, others likened the dandruff to sawdust, a wood waste.

William Masvinu, a two-time winner of Zimbabwe’s Mr. Ugly contest, has once again secured his third title at the event, solidifying his reputation as the country’s ugliest man.

The annual competition aims to celebrate unconventional beauty and Masvinu outshone four other contestants, including close rivals to claim the top prize of $500 and a cow.

In his victory speech, Masvinu expressed confidence in his ability to represent Zimbabwe in a potential international Mr. Ugly competition, stating, “I am undoubtedly the ugliest person in Zimbabwe, and I’m ready to take my talents to the world stage.”

The lady @cute_demiladee noted that she had informed the house agent in Ibadan that she needed a self-contain apartment with Plaster of Paris (POP) ceiling design.

Upon getting to the apartment, she was dumbfounded with the construction design of the apartment even though the interior was appealing.

The viral clip revealed a well-ventilated and spacious room but the kitchen and toilet were attached together; equivalent to a toilet inside a kitchen. The lady has to go through the kitchen before accessing the toilet.

The young man who identifies as @just1_apple shared his mother’s reaction after using a scary Snapchat filter on her face. His mom’s reaction was surprising and hilarious at the same time.

In the video shared online, the man had used a Snapchat filter similar to a ‘wolf’s head’ on his face before tilting the camera to his mom, who instantly scolded him for putting an unholy object on her face.

The association had taken action after gathering that the students reportedly performed woefully in their academics due to using a mobile phone.

An abroad-based Nigerian lady has shared how her family struggled in an ice rink in Germany, due to not knowing how to skate on the ice.

The video circulating online reveals her husband confidently walking into the ice rink, knowing he can’t skate. She enquired whether he had the experience but he refused to answer and proceeded onto the rink.

Upon getting inside the rink, the lady burst into laughter seeing as her husband nearly slipped, luckily a young man helped him to his feet.

Without further ado, the lady and their daughter joined him on the ice rink, resulting in a hilarious adventure as the entire family struggled to stabilize themselves on the ice.

The family’s inexperience wouldn’t let them leave the edge of the ice rink, however, they entertained others with their drama.

An Instagram user by name, @becky_bee47 calls on God to give her a man like the popular skitmaker, NastyBlaq who travelled a long distance to buy food for his wife.

The comedian had posted a video chronicling his girlfriend’s pregnancy events, sharing how she craved the local meal okpa from Enugu and how he travelled to get it.

Both had boarded a flight to Enugu from Lagos to satisfy her cravings and this is what had triggered the Tiktoker to pray for her own man.

The lady was in awe as she recounted NastyBlaq’s intentionality in pleasing his wife. She prays for such level of love from her to-be husband.

Man gets 10 years jail term for sǝxually abus!ng at least 42 dogs

Adam Britton, a 53-year-old British zoologist residing in Australia, has been sentenced to prison after pleading guilty to 60 charges, including 56 related to bestiality and animal cruelty, and four counts of accessing child abuse material.

According to court documents, Britton engaged in the prolonged and sadistic abuse of at least 42 dogs, resulting in the deaths of 39 animals.

The court heard that he lured pet owners into entrusting him with their animals, which he then tortured and killed in a purpose-built “torture room.” This was a specially equipped shipping container where he would film himself inflicting horrific abuse on the animals.

He would then share these disturbing videos with like-minded individuals in secret online chatrooms, using pseudonyms to conceal his identity.

In these online exchanges, Britton revealed a disturbing history of animal abuse, admitting that he had begun molesting horses at the age of 13.

He wrote that he had repressed these sadistic tendencies for a time but had eventually embraced them, stating, “I was sadistic as a child to animals, but I had repressed it. In the last few years, I let it out again, and now I can’t stop. I don’t want to.”

The court described his actions as “depraved” and “outside any ordinary human conception.”

Lagos State government has ordered the destruction of a shrine constructed close to a main road at Moshalasi Bus Stop, Ile Epo in Iyana Ipaja.

This is following after several stop-work orders and physical assault of the personnel working with the state’s parks and gardens agency.

The video circulating online reveals the environmental officers demolishing the shrine without any form of hindrance.

In the tweet,

“After several stop-work notices served and physical assault on the personnel of the Lagos State Parks and Gardens Agency , the Lagos State Environmental Sanitation Corps earlier today removed the Shrine constructed close to a main road at Moshalasi Bus Stop, Ile Epo in Iyana Ipaja. The office of the commissioner has hereby sent a warning note to desist from any form of environmental nuisance in the state. He noted that offenders will be prosecuted squarely.

Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu popularly known as Burnaboy has his reaction taken on video when his crew members tried to engage him in the give-me-my-money trendy challenge.

The viral challenge is done by each of the participants saying “Just give me my money” while the rest cheers them. The joke of the game is that everybody intentionally goes silent on the last person who is usually the unsuspecting targeted one.

Mr Aloba Joseph, the father of the deceased singer, Mohbad Imole has shared the reason his son is yet to be reburied more than a year later.

In an anonymous street interview, the father shares with the world that he would seek justice for his son’s death even if it means not burying him yet.
