Nollywood actress, Christabel Egbenya has declared that she finds money to be sweeter than sexual intercourse and she proved this in a video she shared on her Instagram page recently.
In the video she shared, the actress is seen on the bare floor picking up wads of cash before declaring that money is sweeter than sex.

Popular Nigerian Female Disc Jockey, DJ Switch, real name Obianuju Catherine Udeh, says she’ll be addressing the International Criminal Court (ICC) today, December 17, 2020 over the #EndSARS protests that took place in October.
She made the announcement via her official Instagram on Wednesday, December 16, and urged Nigerians not to give up hope.

A 40-year-old man, Etifa Obukulubu, who set a house ablaze in Bayelsa State, killing a pastor with New Baptist Church and a young woman, claimed that he caught his estranged girlfriend in bed with the pastor.
A makeup artist and baker, Elvina Japheth Abilo was burnt to death in the incident which happened at the Igbogene-Apie area of Yenagoa Local Government Area of Bayelsa Stateon Saturday, October 31, about 3 am while the pastor identified as Henry is said to have passed away later. Read HERE
It was gathered that the suspect had targeted his ex-girlfriend identified as Wilberforce, who had ended their relationship but unknown to him, she had already left the house for pastor Henry and Elvina, who was said to be his assistant.
Obukulubu, who was among 45 suspects of various crimes paraded by the Police at the command headquarters on Tuesday, December 15, told newsmen that he acted in anger after peeping through the window to see the pastor on top of his girlfriend.
“It was due to anger that I carried out the arson. We have been dating for four years and this year, between October 30 and 31, I realised that my girlfriend was always going to the pastor’s house each time I was not at home,” he said.
“When I found out the affair between the pastor and my girlfriend, I became angry and all I could think of at the time was to set them ablaze. It was anger that made me set them ablaze. I caught them red-handed sleeping on the bed after I peep through the window.” he added.
Reality TV star, Iheme Faith Uloma aka Ifu Ennada, has taken to social media to share her childhood struggles in order to motivate her fans against giving up.
The former BBNaija housemate revealed that she and her entire family had to relocate to the village twice because the cost of living in Lagos was beyond their financial means.

Award winning Nigerian singer, Ayo Balogun better known as Wizkid has opened up that choosing a career path in music was the best thing that happened to him.
According to the superstar, music completely transformed his life, noting that he would probably have been on the streets if not for music.
The Ojuelgba crooner noted that he was not born into a wealthy family, but music has blessed him and made him a blessing to his family and people around him.
The father of three disclosed this in a recent interview with top American model and television personality, Naomi Campbell.

A Twitter user has taken to the micro-blogging platform, to recount how God miraculously helped her pass an exam she did not write.
According to the lady with Twitter handle, @holyman, she was supposed to sit for an important exam but couldn’t make it to the exam venue as she fell ill.
She noted that the sickness was severe that she couldn’t lift her legs to go for the exam which was a final year paper in the university.
She further revealed that in her very sick state, she opened her mouth to pray, asking God for a miracle, because she knew it was impossible to not have a carryover in the course, after being absent from the exam.
The lady who prayed with her complete faith in God, revealed that after the results were out she passed the exam she was absent from with distinction.
Sharing the testimony she wrote,
“I remember one Exam In My Final Year, I was so ill that I couldn’t even Move my feet let alone go for the Paper.
“My friends couldn’t wait behind either Cos they had exams to write too. Then I prayed to God for Miracle.

Nigerian actress, Etinosa Idemudia has advised activists against having gender-based advocacy and clamor for the equal rights of humanity in general.
The actress, in a post via her Instagram story, called for the collective effort of all gender groups towards the fight for fairness and equal rights, and leave out the fight for specific genders.
According to her, it is time to switch from gender advocacy, like Feminism, to human advocacy.

Foremost Nigerian author, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie while giving a speech on gender-based violence pointed out that women are the major victims and it starts from the womb.
She stated that before birth, most of the pregnancies terminated are “overwhelmingly female pregnancies ” and they are aborted “specifically because they are female”.
She pointed out that from the time they are born, baby boys are treated differently from baby girls. She said baby girls are cuddled more while the boys are taught to be tough and not cry.
She acknowledged that there is woman-on-woman violence and man-on-man violence but said the majority of the cases of domestic violence is perpetrated on women by men.
She added that men also suffer because of their gender. She explained that men are shamed for not being financially rich, for showing weakness and for failing.
She said a lot need to change and suggested what this change should look like.

A Nigerian woman, Mrs Toyin Bello, has petitioned a Customary Court in Ibadan to dissolve her 16-year-old marriage to her husband, Dotun Bello.
According to Toyin who has been married to her husband for sixteen years, she wants the marriage dissolved on grounds of 10 years of sex starvation, lack of productivity, and irresponsibility.
Toyin told the court on Tuesday, December 15, that she compromised her religious morals to conceive for another man to save her husband from ridicule when she found out he couldn’t impregnate her any more.
She further stated that about six years after the death of the child she had for Dotun, he refused to make sexual advances to her and made worried.
In her words,
“Then, I started running from pillar to post; seeking spiritual and other available solutions towards getting pregnant for him.
“Dotun himself went to the hospital, but he never showed me the result of the test conducted on him in spite of my numerous demands.
“When Dotun was not at home one day, I saw the result where he hid it and it read: ‘unproductive due to low count discharge.
“With age not on my side any longer, I did the needful by secretly getting pregnant for another man so as to make him happy.
“Immediately after delivery, Dotun started misbehaving as he became grossly irresponsible and hostile to me and to the child.
“In fact, for the past 10 years now, he hasn’t slept on the same bed with me let alone touch me and I’m already feeling the trauma.
“Despite Dotun’s disaffection and irresponsibility to me, he is also taking steps to kill me so as to inherit my house and claim the child that doesn’t belong to him.
“That is the reason why I have fled home to start sleeping in our church at Asi area in Ibadan.
“My lord, I cannot continue to waste my time with Dotun, age is no longer on my side; please dissolve our union”.
However, her husband Dotun in his defense countered the lawsuit. He alleged that contrary to his wife claim, it was her who constantly denied him of his conjugal rites.
He admitted he once had a low count discharge, but pointed out that he had since taken care of himself.
“My lord, Toyin denied me my conjugal rite most of the times, usually complaining that she was tired havinh worked all through the day.
“In fact, there was a particular night I broke the door into her bedroom, but she was shouting that I wanted to rape her.
“The only mistake I made was that I didn’t report the incident to her relatives,” he said.
The case has been adjourned to December, 29th. The Court President, Chief Henry Agbaje also asked the couple to come with more evidence to substantiate their claims.

A gas pipeline at Magboro, along Lagos-Ibadan expressway, has reportedly burst open on Wednesday morning, December 16, leaving residents and travelers fleeing to safety.
As at the time of this report, the cause of the leakage is still unknown, however residents along that axis have fled from their homes for fear of a gas explosion.
Motorists and travelers are also afraid of plying that road for now, until the gas leakage is stopped.
The initial death toll was 4, however the Director-General of Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, Olufemi Oke-Osanyintolu stated that it has increased to 8, adding that they are still assessing the scene.
Addressing newsmen on the number of fatalities, He said,
“The explosion occurred and the agency activated a response plan. Initial disaster assessment is as follows: casualties still being assessed but eight fatalities have been identified so far. 25 houses that are mostly bungalows, 16 lock-up shops and one primary school have been affected.
“Firefighters and rescue workers are operating at the incident scene. The gas emission has been identified and curtailed. Damping down is ongoing.
“Post-disaster assessment will be carried out and further updates provided”
Kano State Governor, Dr Abdullahi Ganduje, has finally revealed why he sacked the former Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Lamido Sanusi.
The governor said he sacked Muhammadu Lamido Sanusi as the Emir of Kano to save the system and the traditional institution from abuse.
The governor had, on March 09, 2020, dethroned Sanusi, a vocal advocate of reforms in Northern Nigeria.
Many see the action as Ganduje’s way of getting at the deposed Emir who is believed to have worked against his re-election during the 2019 election.
Speaking during the presentation of a book authored by a journalist, Bonaventure Philips Melah, on former President Goodluck Jonathan, the governor said Sanusi was not the best man for the throne at the time he was appointed in June 2014.
He said the former Emir was appointed to spite Jonathan.
The former President had in April 2014, sacked Sanusi as Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) over claims that $49 billion was stolen by some persons under Jonathan’s administration.
He said, “Sanusi was appointed Emir of Kano not because he was the best man for the throne but to retaliate what Jonathan did to him.
“That was to prove that what Jonathan did to him was wrong and that the people of Kano wanted their son as Emir and therefore they decided to appoint him as Emir.
“But when he was appointed, there was a lot of demonstration with people burning tyres here and there. But because of government backing, he was sustained on the stool.
“When I became governor, (that’s why you will laugh), I said yes, Jonathan medicine is an important medicine.
“That medicine, even though I am not a medical doctor, would serve the same purpose, for the same disease and the same patient.
“So, I took my Jonathan medicine and decided to save the system, to save the institution, and I applied it effectively. So Jonathan and I are on the same page. I have no regrets.”

Recall that day ago the pastor, tendered a public apology to the Christian community at large, and admitted his wrong doings.
However, the teenage ministry as faulted the public apology, stating they do not believe the pastor is indeed sorry for allegedly sexually assaulting young female members.
In a detailed statement signed by the ministry leaders, Mine Teenage Ministry narrated how they discovered the pastor had been allegedly sexually assaulting girls in his care and warned the public against entrusting their children with him.
The ministry stated they received a text message on Tuesday, October 13th, accusing them of being silent while the pastor abuses girls. They decided to investigate and lots of other victims came out.
According to them, their investigations led them to discover that “Timi Adigun had indeed been sexually harassing some of the ladies in the ministry for over 5 years.”
The statement reads in part,
“His wife Titi Adigun knew about this all along, she knew about it the very first time it happened and at other times after that.
“Despite knowing, she still deliberately exposed ladies in the ministry to her husband, accommodating some of them in their home.
“Timi Adigun made some of the victims kneel before his wife to apologize for his own sexual immorality.
“When church leaders presented the facts of their findings to him, he resorted to self justification, and said things like, ‘it’s not like I do not take care of these girls’, ‘God will vindicate me’, ‘ My God will speak for me.
“Timi Adigun NEVER STEPPED DOWN. He said it times without number that he wasn’t called into ministry by anyone and no one could make him step down.
“Would he be sorry if he wasn’t called out?
“From where we stand internally, Timi Adigun’s actions up till now has not reflected remorse.
“He had confidently stated that nothing can be done to him, confidently playing on the victims’ quietness.
“In lieu of this, we still do not recommend any parent or church body to trust their ward with him.
“Any young person, teenager or child involved with Timi or Titi Adigun would be doing so at their own risk.”

According to the man identified as Luke Louis Akuba, his girlfriend is yet to ask him for Christmas money and for this reason, he suspects she is seeing someone else.

Despite his terminated management and record label deal with Davido’s DMW, the singer is showing that he’s still financially stable and is possibly unperturbed with the setbacks the termination of his contract might have caused him.
Recall that Lil Frosh’s contract with Davido Music World was terminated following a domestic violence allegation by his ex-girlfriend, Gift Camille.
In a recent post on his Instagram page, the singer flaunted his newly acquired Mercedes Benz in a black & white image filter.
Sharing the photo, he wrote;
